Ranveer Singh Recalls His Love Story With Deepika At Billionaire Heiress, Netra Mantena's Wedding

The grand wedding ceremony of the daughter of billionaire heirness, Netra Mantena and Vamsi Gadiraju has become the talk-of-the-town. For those who don't know, the wedding took place in Udaipur and famous names like Donald Trump Jr., Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez and more attended the same. Apart from them, the wedding also included dance performances by several Bollywood celebrities. However, Ranveer Singh stole the limelight, when he recalled his love story.

Ranveer Singh calls Udaipur the ‘lucky charm for love stories’

Recently, Bollywood actor, Ranveer Singh gave an energetic performance on Netra and Vamsi’s sangeet. After that, he grabbed all the attention by recalling his beautiful love story with Deepika Padukone and shared that since Udaipur is the best place for love stories, Netra and Vamsi will also have a great life together. In the video of Ranveer that is going viral on social media, he was quoted as saying:

"Udaipur is a special place for a very very special occasion. I want to tell you, Udaipur is like a lucky charm for love stories. I shot a movie here called Ramleela, have you seen it? It was back in the day and I was starring opposite your bhabhi, and it was on the long Udaipur schedule of Ramleele, that our love story blossomed. Netra and Vamsi, since then it's been 13 years of togetherness, 7 years of marriage and one beautiful baby girl."

The wedding ceremony of Netra Mantena and Vamsi Gadiraju was nothing less than a fairytale. The couple got married in a grand ceremony held in Udaipur's Jagmandir Island Palace. On November 23, 2025, Netra and Vamsi had their varmala ceremony. For their big day, Netra looked gorgeous in a red traditional lehenga with heavy jewellery, while Vamsi opted for a cream sherwani. For the unversed, Netra is the daughter of Rama Raju and Padmaja. Raju is the Orlando-based CEO of the famous Ingenus Pharmaceuticals.

After meeting and falling in love with each other on the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela in 2012-2013, Ranveer and Deepika dated for almost 7 years. Around 2015, the couple got engaged to each other but kept it private until they got married in November 2018, in Villa del Balbianello, Lake Como, Italy. 

Years later, in 2024, Deepika and Ranveer announced their pregnancy through a cute and special Instagram post and in September 2024, the lovey-dovey couple of Bollywood welcomed their little angel. A few days later, the duo revealed the name of their baby girl, 'Dua Padukone Singh'. However, it was during Diwali 2025, when Deepika and Ranveer revealed the face of their daughter, Dua and made Diwali even more special for their fans. 

Talking about their work fronts, Deepika Padukone was last seen in the film, Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty. She will next be seen in the films, King, alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Telugu film, AA 22. On the other hand, Ranveer Singh was last seen in the film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani. Next, the actor will be seen in Dhurandhar.
