Ranveer Singh Hugs Farhan Akhtar At '120 Bahadur' Screening, Fans Demand The Release Of 'Don 3'

Ranveer Singh has been making headlines recently after the release of his film, Dhurandhar's trailer on 18 November, 2025. After its launch event in Mumbai, the actor was seen attending another event the following night. This event was for a special screening of his friend Farhan Akhtar's 120 Bahadur. After the fans became aware of Ranveer's presence at the event, they started urging both him and Farhan to begin work on the much-anticipated Don 3.

The star-packed screening of Farhan Akhtar's 120 Bahadur took place on November 19, 2025, in Mumbai. The guest list included many prominent B-town celebs, including Rekha, Waheeda Rehman, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, and more. The Dhurandhar actor was dressed in a simple all black kurta-pyjama set. While his dress was simple, what caught fans' eyes was his all-time swag and aura upon his arrival. Ranveer proved that he is indeed a very supportive friend by turning up the cheer for Farhan, who leads the film inspired by the Battle of Rezang La. Following this, he greeted Farhan with his classic smile, which captures everyone's hearts, and a warm hug as soon as Farhan walked into the venue. After exchanging greetings and chatting quite animatedly, Farhan led Ranveer towards the red carpet. Here, the duo stopped to pose together in front of the photographers stationed on the carpet.  

Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar's sweet moments on the carpet have set social media abuzz. Their fans are not only excited to see the actors' reunion, but some movie fanatics are also wondering about their upcoming project, Don 3, in which the duo collaborated. One social media user wrote, "I think their energy matches. It'll be a treat". Another impatient user shared, "Can they start filming tomorrow? Kriti and Ranveer will be fire together." Referring to their previous collaboration in Dil Dhadakne Do, a fan wrote, "Loved them in DDD, would like to watch them again".  

What to expect from Don 3? 

Fans have been waiting patiently since Farhan Akhtar revealed that Ranveer Singh will be the new 'Don' in the third film of the hit franchise. This announcement came in the form of a special video almost two years ago, in August 2023. As the teaser begins, we are immediately greeted with Ranveer's back facing the camera. Following this, he can be seen lighting up a cigarette and introducing himself as 'Don'. Ranveer faces the camera only after he finishes his introduction. Previously, the same character was played by actors, Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan. While there were talks of actress Kiara Advani initially joining Ranveer Singh in Don 3, many fans now believe it will be Kriti Sanon who plays the female lead alongside Ranveer's 'Don'. As of November 20, 2025, we still have not gotten an official announcement for the remaining cast members of the upcoming film. Additionally, the plot details also remain under wraps.
