Ranveer Singh Addresses Romancing 20 Years Younger Sara Arjun In 'Dhurandhar', 'Aisa Lagta Hai...'

Ranveer Singh's upcoming film, Dhurandhar, is the most-awaited one among his fans. It is believed to be based on a real-life story. While fans are eager to witness it, the films made headlines for the twenty-year age gap between the leading stars Ranveer Singh and Sara Arjun. There are steamy scenes in the film, which left fans criticising the age gap between the two.

Ranveer Singh breaks his silence on the age gap with his co-star, Sara Arjun

At the trailer launch of the upcoming film, Ranveer Singh shared his experience working with Sara Arjun. He stated that he cannot believe that they are together on stage and sharing the special moment. He called himself lucky to be part of the special moment, and called Sara 'a prodigy'. He applauded Sara for beating thousands of other candidates to take on the role. He said:

"Sara, I can’t believe we are here on this stage. What a special moment for you. I’m honoured to be part of it, I’m lucky to be part of such a special moment for you. Sara here is a prodigy. Aapko pata chalega, kuchh log hote hain naa, matlab bachpan se hi aapko pata hai ki, they are just like a child prodigy. Like ek baar Dakota Fanning aayi thi Hollywood mein. I think, Sara, it’s testament to the fact that you beat thousands of other candidates to land this part. And it’s as if you were born to do this."

Ranveer further added that it doesn't look like it was Sara's first film, it looked as if she had worked in fifty films so far. He added that she is the finest actress he has shared screen space with, and she made him look even better. He was quoted as saying:

"Aise lagta hai yeh 50 films karke aayi hain. She’s so precocious as a person, as a performer. You are one of the finest actors that I have shared screen with. You make me look better and my heartfelt gratitude for that. I just can’t believe that it’s your first film. Obviously, you know, somebody who I love and respect a lot, Mr Mani Ratnam sir, you have acted in his films as well, and you have showed your potential and this is where the world will see you, on the big stage. I’m really really happy and I’m very very proud of you. Thank you, Sara."

Sara Arjun is playing the love interest of the lead in the film, Dhurandhar. During the trailer launch event, Sara talked about her experience working in the film and stated that it was an absolute blessing to be part of it. She stated it was an honour to work with the most versatile actors of all time. It felt like a dream as she had been dreaming of it, and now it has happened to her.

Sara Arjun is a young Indian actress. She was born in 2005 to Indian actor, Raj Arjun. He was famously known for playing the negative role of 'Farookh Malik' in the 2017 film, Secret Superstar, featuring Aamir Khan. On the other hand, her mother, Sanya Arjun, is a dance teacher. Sara's journey to fame started when she was just 18 months old as she made her debut as an infant model in a Television commercial.
