From police complaints being filed against him to FIRs, the matter has even reached the parliament. Amid all this, a user on Reddit noted that Samay is subtly framing Ranveer.

For the unversed, Samay hosts India's Got Latent where comedians take the stage to show off their comedy skills. The judges grill them, including Samay with the other jury members. Now, a user on Reddit has observed Samay has subtly framed Ranveer. The user shared how Samay moved his content to another platform because of YouTube censorship and how much money they took from him. It was the most downloaded app in India a few weeks back. Now, losing Samay is bad for YouTube; they have pushed him with intention. This year's YouTube trends report has his name, face and show front and centre. So this is a YouTube takedown, as he threatens to hurt them. The netizen also wrote:

"This is because it was only a members-only episode, so it can't go viral simply because of the faces. It's been pushed and because of the different target of people who found out- old people. How and why? Just because of the comment being on parents? Unlikely. This is a Samay takedown and it was shot on Beer Biceps shoulders because he offered the chance."

Ranveer Allahbadia issues public apology for his crass comment

After multiple FIRs were lodged against Allahbadia, he took to his social media handle to issue a public apology for the inappropriate remarks he made on the show which was aired. In his sorry video, he said that comedy was never his forte and that it was not cool. Ranveer, in a part of his video, said:

"My comment wasn't just inappropriate, it wasn't even funny. Comedy is not my forte, I am just here to say sorry. Obviously, this is not how I wish to use it. I am not going to give any context, justification, or reasoning behind what happened. I am just here for an apology. I personally had a lapse in judgment. It wasn't cool on my part."

Ranveer also addressed issues of younger audiences being influenced and said that people of all ages watch the podcast. He does not want to be the kind of person who takes that responsibility lightly. Family is the last thing that he would ever disrespect. He needed to use this platform better and that has been his learning from this entire experience.

Samay is a YouTuber, standup comedian, and chess enthusiast who has been under fire due to his controversial show, India's Got Latent. He reportedly has a degree in print engineering from Pune, Maharashtra but he left the course in the middle as he found it unfulfilling. Raina then had his calling towards stand-up comedy.
