Ranveer Allahbadia REACTS To Samay Raina's Digs On 'Still Alive', Says, 'Kaun Samay? My Time Is Now'

Samay Raina has been hogging the spotlight ever since his stand-up special, Still Alive, premiered on April 7, 2026, on YouTube. Fans have been loving the show thanks to its candid material. Among the jokes he made, what caught everyone's attention was Samay taking multiple jabs at podcaster, Ranveer Allahbadia, referencing his time on the now-defunct India's Got Latent. Now, it seems that Ranveer has reacted to the same while speaking with paparazzi. 

Ranveer Allahbadia's viral reaction to Samay Raina's jokes about him on Still Alive

Ranveer Allahbadia, also known as Beer Biceps, was recently captured in a paparazzi video shared by Shailesh Pandey. In the clip, Ranveer appeared as his usual cheerful self while interacting with the media. During the interaction, the paparazzo said, “Hum dono ka Samay chal raha hai..” However, what grabbed attention was his immediate reaction to Samay Raina's name. Ranveer said, “Samay kaun Samay? Kya Samay? It's our time, my time is now.” 

In another video, Ranveer addressed the jokes directed at him in a lighthearted manner. He said that he can definitely hear the compliments and that praise always finds its way to him. According to Beer Biceps, the more positivity one harbours in themselves, the more they attract the same. In his words:

"Tareefein toh sunai de rahi hain tareef hum tak pahunch jati hai. Jitni zyada positivity aap andar rakhoge, utni zyada aap attract karte ho. Main bohot ‘mazaak kiya’ bhi hoon good sense of humour. Smile karte rehna chahiye."

Samay Raina on Ranveer Allahbadia a.k.a. Beer Biceps' India's Git Latent controversy 

Samay Raina spoke about several things on his recent stand-up special, Still Alive. Among these was the India's Got Latent controversy. He opened up about what went wrong with the episode featuring Ranveer Allahbadia. During his set, Samay said, “Mera poora mental health kharab kardi usne, usko toh meditation bhi aata hai, kuch bhi nahi aata mukhe toh.” 

At one point, Samay even humorously referred to Ranveer as “the monk who sold my Ferrari.” Despite the several jokes he made about the famous YouTuber, Samay acknowledged that the backlash against Beer Biceps was excessive and crossed certain lines. Furthermore, he explained why Ranveer's controversial segment was not edited out of the show. Samay suggested that Ranveer had made such remarks multiple times during the shoot, and, as a result, they influenced the final cut of India's Got Latent episode. He said:

“Main tumhe maa ki kasam sach batata hoon. Uss episode main Beer Biceps ne voh sawal 8 baar poocha tha. Aur iske alawa bhi kayi ant shant sawaal poochhe the usne. Toh ab jab maine edit dekha na, maine kaha, ‘Yeh toh bohot gandi baatein kari hain isne.'"

What transpired in India's Got Latent episode featuring Ranveer Allahbadia that Samay Raina referred to?

The controversy in question, which Samay Raina referred to during his Still Alive show, erupted in 2025 when Ranveer Allahbadia asked a question on India's Got Latent, which numerous viewers watching the episode found highly offensive. He asked, “Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to make it stop forever?” 

While the panel laughed off Beer Biceps' question at the time, it sparked widespread backlash. Not only did Ranveer receive death threats and face online cancellation, but FIRs were also filed against him and the show's producers. After the National Commission for Women intervened, Ranveer had to submit a written apology. Later, the Supreme Court granted him interim protection. Though it is worth mentioning that the court also criticised Ranveer's remarks as “vulgar” and noted that his “dirty mind” had brought shame to society.
