Ranveer Allahbadia Goes Missing? 'Phone Switched Off And House Locked', Reveals Police

Ranveer Allahbadia is a famous content creator and influencer known for his podcasts. But his business came crashing down after his stint on Samay Raina's show, India's Got Latent, wherein he passed a crass statement about his parents' intimate life. This left everyone in shock, and soon, celebrities who were all set to come to his podcast, cancelled their appearances. 

Ranveer Allahbadia goes missing

Soon, FIRs were filed against Ranveer Allahbadia, Samay Raina, and co-judges on the panel. After almost a week of police visits, it seems like Ranveer has gone missing. According to Mumbai Police, the YouTuber's phone is switched off, and he is not reachable. Not only this, but Ranveer's home in Versova is also locked. Ranveer's lawyer is also not reachable. 

For the unversed, the Maharashtra Cyber Cell has filed an FIR against Ranveer, Samay and others associated with India's Got Latent over the former's statement. Ranveer made an improper comment on the latest episode of the show when he asked a contestant:

"Would you rather watch your parents have *** for the rest of your life, or would you join in once and stop it forever?"

Ranveer Allahbadia apologised for his statement 

On February 10, 2025, after the issue was blown and Ranveer got massive hate from across the nation, he released an apology video. He stated that his comment was not even funny and was just inappropriate. He added that comedy wasn't his forte, and he just wanted to apologise. Ranveer went on to say:

"My comment was not just inappropriate, it was not even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry. Many of you asked if this is how I wished to use my platform and obviously, this is not how I wish to use it. I am not going to give any context or justification or reasoning behind whatever happened. I am just here to apologise. I personally had a lapse in judgement. It was not cool on my part."

When Samay Raina reacted to the hate he received after Ranveer Allahbadia's nasty remark on parents

Since the start of the week, Ranveer Allahbadia's name has been called out for his nasty remark on Samay Raina's show, wherein he questioned a contestant's parents' intimate life and asked him if the person would join them. This remark left Samay even shocked. After days of silence, Samay shared his side of the story. 

Taking to his Instagram stories, Samay revealed that he had deleted all the videos of his show, India's Got Latent , from his YouTube channel. He added that all the backlashing was way too much for him to handle. He wrote:

"Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all India's Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly."
