Ranveer Allahbadia, famously known as 'BeerBiceps', is a YouTuber and podcaster who recently appeared on Samay Raina's show, India's Got Latent. However, things went south when the podcaster's statement created a wave of controversy online. Ranveer has now posted an apology video addressing his crass remark on the show.

Ranveer Allahbadia's inappropriate comment on the show resulted in a row on social media. Netizens were quick to point out how crass his comments were, and the YouTuber faced severe backlash. Now, responding to the same, Ranveer posted an apology video on social media. In the video, Ranveer admitted that his comment was not just inappropriate but also not funny. He addressed that this was not how he wanted to use the platform he was provided with and called the occurrences a lapse in judgement. He stated:

"My comment was not just inappropriate, it was not even funny. Comedy is not my forte. I am just here to say sorry. Many of you asked if this is how I wished to use my platform and obviously, this is not how I wish to use it. I am not going to give any context or justification or reasoning behind whatever happened. I am just here to apologise. I personally had a lapse in judgement. It was not cool on my part."

Ranveer Allahbadia reveals he has asked the makers to remove the insensitive sections from the video

Ranveer Allahbadia, further in the video, addressed the concerns of his supporters. He posted the video on his social media with the caption, "I shouldn’t have said what I said on India's Got Latent. I'm sorry." He stressed that he had learned his lesson and would do better going forward. He stated:

"The podcast is watched by people of all ages. I don't want to be the kind of person who takes that responsibility lightly. Family is the last thing that I would ever disrespect. I need to use this platform better. That has been what I have learned from this whole experience. I promise to get better. I have asked the makers of the video to remove the insensitive sections from the video. All I can say in the end is sorry. I hope you can forgive me as a human being."

For the unversed, Ranveer Allahbadia appeared as a judge along with Samay Raina, Ashish Chanchlani, and Apoorva Mukhija, aka 'The Rebel Kid', on India's Got Latent. In the show, judges usually roast contestants to judge their improv skills. However, in an abrupt turn of events, Ranveer asked a contestant an extremely uncomfortable question.
