Adira Changed Me Overnight: Rani Mukerji Talks About Motherhood, Aditya Chopra And Her Comeback

Someone rightly said that your life is never the same when you become a mother. There are sleepless nights, there are sweet nothings and there are beautiful, small little moments that make the journey worthwhile for every new mother. 

One actress who is relishing this wonderful phase is Rani Mukerji who welcomed Adira on December 9, 2015. In a video posted on Yash Raj Film’s official Facebook page, Rani opened up about a number of things that are keeping her busy.

From becoming a mother to the reason why she does not prefer posting Adira’s photos online, to her next film, Hichki, Rani tells it all.

Talking about how she feels being a mother, she said: 

"It feels great. The last two and a half years -- nine months of pregnancy and one and a half years of motherhood -- have been the happiest years of my life. I enjoy seeing Adira grow, reach new milestones each day."

Talking about how motherhood has changed her, Rani said: 

"It's amazing being a mother; you change overnight because the experience teaches you on a daily basis. I have become stronger and I have also mellowed down. But a lot of things come with being a mother. I'm looking forward to my journey of raising Adira, so it's going to be fun."

When asked why she is not on social media, Rani said: 

"I'm not on social media. I don't post pictures of my daughter because my husband is a very private person and I respect that. Also, I don't like saying no to my fans, especially when they ask me to post pictures." 

We totally respect your decision of keeping your private life strictly private Rani. As long as you chat with us like this more often, we are more than happy!
