Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram are all set to tie the knot on November 29, 2023. The couple will be exchanging their wedding vows in Imphal, Manipur, following traditional Meitei rituals. Ever since their wedding announcement, the duo has been painting the town red with their chemistry and romance. And now, we came across the first glimpse of their traditional Manipuri wedding, which is simply beautiful.
While scrolling through our social media feed, we came across the first glimpse of Randeep Hooda and Lin Laishram’s wedding. In the picture, we spotted the couple siting beside one another, as they performed their wedding ritual. However, it was Lin’s graceful traditional attire for the wedding which blew our minds. The actress wore the traditional potloi in magenta hue. For the unversed, potloi is a cylindrical skirt made out of thick fabric and hard bamboo, adorned with satin cloth and other embellishments. Lin’s potloi featured intricately embroidered embellishments in silver thread, along with gold zari work in the bottom. She teamed it with a black-hued blouse featuring golden embroidery and a sheer white-hued dupatta, pinned with her hair bun.

However, the show-stealer point of her overall bridal look was the exquisite bridal jewellery which she wore. Looking every bit like a princess, Lin opted for multiple layered neckpieces, bangles, kadhas, haathphool, layered tiaras, heavy earrings a maang-teeka and a crown. Subtle base makeup and a maroon lip shade added stars to her look. In one of the other glimpses, the bride and groom could be seen surrounded by their family members, who walked around them as they placed money in their joined hands over a white cloth.

Several inside glimpses from Randeep and Lin’s wedding venue have also surfaced on the internet. As announced by the couple earlier, the theme of their nuptials was based on a leaf taken out from the epic, Mahabharata, narrating the tale of prince Arjuna’s wedding with the warrior princess, Chitrangada. The entire wedding venue can be seen decorated with white-hued fabric and flowers, along with a touch of contrasting gold hued décor. A giant board is placed on the entry spot, that had the names of Randeep and Lin written on it. The giant wedding mandap with marble flooring was also visible, wherein the priests could be seen busy with the arrangements for the wedding. The glimpses were surely heart-melting.
