Randeep Hooda is one of the most talented and upfront actors in Bollywood. He came from a non-filmy background and worked hard for years to establish his recognition. The actor has always been candid about his struggles in B-town. Recently, he gave an interview to Bharti TV and confessed that he initially attended Bollywood networking parties and shared details about the experience.
Randeep Hooda had no connections that helped him soar to heights in Bollywood. He scaled the journey with his talent, and initially, he used to be unaware of how things went in Bollywood. Randeep revealed that he often went to networking parties in Bollywood and got drunk there. He was quoted as saying:

Randeep said that he didn't know that networking parties in Bollywood are not like real parties. So, you have to behave in a certain way there. The Kick actor added that people go to these parties to connect with influential people and have an opportunity to get some projects in the industry. In his words:
"I later realised that you're not supposed to do that. You just have to hold a drink in your hand, exchange pleasantries, and talk about who is working on what project. Hum toh do teen taka tak laga lete the aur kisko kya bola woh toh Ram jaane? Bollywood parties are just networking and not real parties because you party with your real friends who you're comfortable with."
In an earlier interview with Siddharth Kannan, Randeep had expressed that he wished if he could know more about the networking game of the industry when he was young. Now, Randeep accepts that he loves to party even now. But, he only parties at his home with his friends in a more comfortable space, unlike the other parties in Bollywood with the B-town lot. In his words:
“Party toh bahut karte hain, par ab apne ghar pe karte hain”.

Before Randeep Hooda, Parineeti Chopra gave an interview with Bollywood Hungama, saying that the opportunities in Bollywood are created at dinners and parties in Bollywood. However, she didn't go there and wanted the filmmakers to approach her for the work rather than if they thought she was eligible, which affected her career. She waited for a decade before she got to play a character like 'Amarjot Kaur' in her recent film, Amar Singh Chamkila. Parineeti said:
"I don't go to dinners and lunches or attend parties where work opportunities are created in Bollywood or those roles are discussed. I want directors and producers to call me for my work because I am willing to work hard. I won a National Award for Ishaqzaade 10 years ago. I am still the same actor."
