Ranbir Kapoor is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood among his generation. Carrying the legacy of his grandfather, Raj Kapoor, Ranbir has retained an unparalleled stardom in the competitive film industry. He made his debut with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film, Saawariya and hasn’t looked back on his career front since. In his personal life, he is married to Alia Bhatt and the duo is blessed with a daughter, Raha.
Back in 2011, Ranbir Kapoor enthralled everyone with his power-packed performance in Imtiaz Ali’s directorial film, Rockstar. Recently, a fan page of the actor re-shared a BTS clip from Ranbir’s shooting for the film’s song, Kun Faaya Kun, wherein he was seen shooting a Sufi song on the premises of Nizamuddin Auliya’s shrine in Delhi. At one point during the shoot, Ranbir could be seen getting zoned out in the beautiful melody of the song. Expressing what went through his mind during the song, Ranbir Kapoor said:
“I was just singing the song and the camera was just moving and it captured something which I think I will always get a lot of credit for. It’s not something I deserve.”

The film has not only garnered commercial success, the actor, too has received critical appreciation for the same. Previously, during one of his promotional interviews for the film, Ranbir revealed being apprehensive about performing intimate scenes for the particular film. Sharing how it was his wife, Alia Bhatt who motivated him to be at ease, the actor said:
“We speak so much about each other's work. I really respect her as an artist, and I really respect her mind and how she thinks. Every scene or every day that I was going on this film, I used to discuss it with her. You know, she has helped me with so many scenes. She has helped me with the scenes, where you know, I was scared as an actor that this isn't sounding too wrong."
In his personal life, Ranbir Kapoor has had a somewhat strained relationship with his father and late actor, Rishi Kapoor. Previously, during one of his interactions for Animal’s promotion, the actor talked about his biggest regret about being Rishi Kapoor’s son. Elaborating how he now wishes to have a more civil and friendly bond with him, Ranbir said:
“While I was growing up, my father was very busy, he was shooting most of the time, double shifts-triple shifts he was traveling everywhere so somewhere we’ve always seen him with a lot of love and respect but there was not a really friendly relationship between us. We couldn’t just sit and chat, and I really have that one regret in my life I wish I could be friends with my father. I wish I could share more with him, which is one regret I always live with."
