Ranbir Kapoor Talks About His Labour Room Experience With Alia Bhatt, Shares Having Sleepless Nights

The entry of a cute little angel in Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's life has changed everything. The lovely couple is happy with the arrival of their daughter, Raha. They are living the best phase of their life while spending time with their infant, and the couple has often talked about their daughter, Raha, in various interviews. Recently, in an interview, Ranbir opened up about his labour room experience when their daughter, Raha was born.

Recently, Ranbir appeared on Kareena Kapoor Khan's show, What Women Want season 4 where he discussed his early fatherhood experiences. Further in the interview, the show's host, Kareena Kapoor Khan asked the actor to rate himself between 1 to 7 as a father, Ranbir rated himself with a perfect score of 7. Sharing his experience of what he felt after he held his daughter, Raha for the first time, Ranbir said:

"I got the opportunity to hold her the moment she was born after her umbilical cord was cut and that moment will be etched in the core memory of my life. To witness her and Alia together for the first time when Alia held her close to her neck and chest - that was also a very magical moment for me."

Ranbir Kapoor opened up about his labour room experience with Alia Bhatt

In the same interview, Ranbir Kapoor opened up about his labour room experience with Alia when she was about to give birth to their loving daughter, Raha. Speaking about the same, he said:

 "I was very good in the labour room. I had taken a sabbatical from work two-three months prior to her delivery and stayed in the hospital for a week."

Kareena reacted to his statement and said that he is a lovely husband. She further mentioned that her husband, Saif Ali Khan had not stayed one night with her in the hospital. In her words: 

"I would say you're a lovely husband, Saif wouldn't stay one night with me in the hospital."

After listening to Kareena Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor laughed and said that he don't think Alia would complain about that. Considering himself a good husband, Ranbir stated:

"I don't think Alia would say that but I consider myself a good husband."

Ranbir Kapoor on having sleepless nights after Raha's birth

Going further in the interview, Ranbir revealed that despite having a good number of house help, they had many sleepless nights. He further stated the reason for his sleepless nights and said it was the excitement of having his first child. Speaking about the same, Ranbir shared:

"It was delightful. There was no other emotion except for excitement. We have a good amount of help, yet still for the first two months atleast, we had a lot of sleepless nights because when you have the excitement of your first child and she is sleeping between us in bed, you're alert even with just a little bit of movement."

On the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor's film, Tu Jhooti Main Makkar, has hit the silver screens on March 8, 2023. In addition, he will be seen in the upcoming crime drama, Animal, which is expected to release in 2023.

Ranbir is a hands-on dad, and his fatherhood experience has just proved it.
