Ranbir Kapoor's Private Chef Shares How Rakhi Sawant Would Bargain, Recalls Her Funny Voice Notes

Behind every good-looking and physically fit celebrity, there are several people who work round the clock to make everything perfect to the tee. Recently, popular Bollywood actor, Ranbir Kapoor's private chef, Harsh Dixit, sat for an interview and revealed how he started working for the actor. He also shared an anecdote about Rakhi Sawant.

Ranbir Kapoor's private chef shares how he met the actor

Chef Harsh spoke at length about his professional life during an interaction on the Untriggered with AminJaz podcast. While conversing, he mentioned that he started his career by working at a restaurant and then he started his own meal prep service, which was way before delivery apps like Zomato and Swiggy became popular. Harsh said that his service caught the attention of celebrities from the movie industry, and that's when he met Ranbir Kapoor.

Further, Chef Harsh revealed that he has worked for Alia Bhatt, Aditya Roy Kapur, Shahid Kapoor, and even Rakhi Sawant. Continuing the conversation, the chef shared that Rakhi would often send him crazy voice notes. Revealing that the actress' personality is the same off-screen as she is in public, Harsh said:

"Dude, I’ve had some crazy voice notes that she would send. She would give her preferences…Yes! Even her voice notes. That’s real, whatever we see the whole time. Some fasting and all she would do, and ask for some sabudana khichdi, and we’d wonder isme kahan se protein calories and all."

Moreover, Harsh also mentioned that this incident happened some 10-12 years ago when the model-turned-actress did not have a managing team and used to do everything on her own. He further recalled the time when Rakhi tried to bargain with the chef in her most candid self. Harsh said:

"I didn't know she didn't have a manager she was dealing it by doing this by herself, I'm talking like 10, 11, 12 years ago. She’s gone and said something like, ‘Babu, nahi hoga’. It was damn funny voice note."

Ranbir Kapoor's private chef recalls cooking for him and Alia Bhatt

Chef Harsh Dixit then went on to share that he met Ranbir at an important juncture of his life when he left his meal prep service and switched to being the actor's private chef. He also reminisced about his first meeting with the actor and heaped praise on his down-to-earth nature. Harsh talked about his experience preparing food for Ranbir, Alia, and Ayan Mukerji while they were shooting Brahmastra in Bulgaria.
