Ranbir Kapoor Finally Opens Up On Shifting To His New Bungalow, Shares Details About House Shopping

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are set to move into their new home in Mumbai. The couple have been getting the house constructed way before their wedding. They wanted to shift to their home as soon as possible, but due to the construction way, it kept getting delayed year after year. But it seems like Ranbir and Alia might soon shift as the actor hinted about the same in his recent Instagram Live.

Ranbir Kapoor opened up about shifting to his new bungalow with his family

During his recent Instagram Live, Ranbir Kapoor discussed how his quick birthday getaway doubled as both work and leisure time. When a fan asked Ranbir how his vacation was, the superstar revealed that it was amazing but filled with work as he is moving to his new house, so they were shopping for their new house. Ranbir was quoted as saying:

"The vacation was great. It was like work-cum-vacation, as some of you guys know, I am shifting to my new house, so we had to do some house shopping. So we made a quick two-day trip with the family, and it just worked out perfectly that it was the same time as my birthday. I had a wonderful birthday last night. Actually my entire last two days have been great because I was with my family, I was with my mother with Alia and Raha. Couldn't have asked for a better birthday."

Ranbir Kapoor's daughter is the owner of his dream home worth Rs. 250 crore bungalow

As per a report by Bollywood Life, Ranbir is planning to name the bungalow after his daughter, Raha. If this is true, the little girl would be the youngest and richest star kid in Bollywood. For the unversed, it is the 'most expensive' celebrity bungalow in Mumbai. The source was quoted as saying:

"Ranbir and Alia are both equally investing their hard-earned money to make their dream house. The house will cost more than Rs. 250 crore once it’s all done. And this will become the most expensive bungalow in the Mumbai area compared with Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat and Amitabh Bachchan’s Jalsa."

For the unversed, the property valued at Rs. 250 crore has a luxurious six-storey. It has a room for Ranbir Kapoor's sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, her daughter, Samara Sahni, and a couple's room too. It is worth mentioning that the property belonged to Raj Kapoor and his wife, Krishna Raj Kapoor. After their demise, it was transferred to Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in the 1980s. And now, it is passed on to Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.

Alia Bhatt was left super angry when a video of her newly constructed home circulated on social media. Reacting to it, Alia stated that she understand that the space in Mumbai is limited, and sometimes the view from your window is another person's home, but this doesn't give right to film private residences and push the video online. She wrote:

"I understand that in a city like Mumbai, space is limited — sometimes the view from your window is another person’s home. But that does not give anyone the right to film private residences and push those videos online. A video of our home — still under construction — has been recorded and circulated by multiple publications, without our knowledge or consent. This is a clear invasion of privacy and a serious security issue. Filming or photographing someone's personal space without permission is not “content” — it's a violation. It should never be normalized."
