Ranbir Kapoor Turns 43, Received Special Gift From Daughter Raha, Calls 'Lokah' Excellent On IG Live

Bollywood star, Ranbir Kapoor turned 43 on September 23, 2025 and marked the occasion by connecting directly with his fans over an Instagram live. The actor connected with his fans through his lifestyle brand Arks’ official Instagram page on Sunday evening. Fans flooded the session with wishes and questions, and Ranbir happily engaged with them, offering personal anecdotes and updates about his life.

Raha’s special birthday gift for her father, Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir's birthday was filled with many wishes, gifts and blessings. When asked what gift he received for his birthday, Ranbir melted hearts with his response. He revealed that his daughter, Raha promised him 43 kisses, one for each year of his life. He could be quoted as saying: 

“Raha made me a promise that she will give me 43 kisses, so I got that!” 

Ranbir expressed his love for music and the film, Lokah

Ranbir also gave fans a peek into his current playlist. He shared that one of his favourite tracks right now is Barbaad from the film Saiyaara. He also praised Lokah, a Malayalam superhero film, saying he had recently seen the film and found it to be excellent. He mentioned that he liked Sahiba, and it is a ‘great song’. He further said that he is usually a Spotify top 50 person, discovering music from the India top 50 or the global top 50. 

Ranbir’s wife and actress, Alia Bhatt, had also praised Lokah after its release, making it clear that both stars are keeping a keen eye on regional cinema. Ranbir’s appreciation for the film delighted many Malayalam movie fans who joined the live.

Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming projects

Ranbir has an exciting slate of films ahead. He will next be seen alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited Love & War, scheduled to release on March 20, 2026. He is also preparing for one of the most ambitious projects of his career, Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. Ranbir will be playing ‘Lord Ram’, with Sai Pallavi who will be playing ‘Sita’ and Yash will be seen as ‘Raavan.’ The first part of the film is set to release during Diwali next year and is already generating massive buzz.
