Ranbir And Deepika's Makeup Artists Helped Them Meet, Katrina 'Cried-Wept' Post Split With The Actor

At the beginning of his career, Ranbir was linked to several famous actresses, and his personal life never stopped making the headlines. Ranbir himself, in an interview, shared how he was known as the Casanova of Bollywood, as he dated top actresses. Well, recently a veteran journalist spilled some unknown details from Ranbir's personal life, including his bond with Deepika and Katrina.

Veteran journalist reveals unknown details about Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone's relationship

One of Ranbir Kapoor's most-talked-about relationships was with Deepika Padukone. The duo was so much in love with one another that their fans thought that they would be the endgame, i.e., they would get married. However, things didn't work out, and Ranbir and Deepika parted ways after a few years of dating. On her appearance on Koffee With Karan, Deepika revealed that she had been cheated by Ranbir, and speculations were rife that the actor had cheated on her with Katrina Kaif.

Recently, in an interview with Zahra Jani on a podcast, veteran journalist Pooja Samant revealed that Deepika and Ranbir actually met through their makeup artists. In the interview, Pooja said that Ranbir and Deepika were shooting their respective films, and their makeup artists told them about each other. Later, Ranbir and Deepika got each other's numbers through their makeup artists, as per Pooja. Sharing this unknown detail about Ranbir and Deepika's relationship, Pooja said:

"Deepika’s make-up artist told her that Ranbir is shooting next door. She said, ‘I have heard his name’. Ranbir’s make-up artist also told him that “Prakash Padukone’s daughter is shooting next door”. He said, ‘Wow, I would like to meet her personally, so I need her number’. So the make-up artists exchanged their numbers and they got in touch."

In the same interview, Pooja Samant revealed that Katrina Kaif was hurt over her breakup with Ranbir Kapoor. Sharing the reason, Pooja shared that Katrina had to let go of several big projects, as she thought that she was about to get married to Ranbir, which, too, didn't happen, leaving the actress weeping, while stating that she had ruined her career. Pooja mentioned that when she went to meet Katrina in the YRF studio, she was crying like anything. Pooja can be quoted as saying:

"When we went to YRF Studios to interview Katrina, she was weeping, crying like anything. She was saying I have made a mistake, and I am responsible for my loss of work. She was crying and telling us that she fell in love with him and then things didn’t work out, and now we are not together anymore. But because of him, I ruined my career.”

Pooja further explained how Katrina might have thought that marrying into the Kapoor family wouldn't allow her to work in movies, and for the same reason, she gave up a lot of films. Eventually, her relationship with Ranbir didn't work, and she was left disappointed. Pooja said:

"She must have thought that after marrying Ranbir, she would have become a Kapoor family member, and she must have thought that they didn’t allow their daughters-in-law to work in movies, at least that’s how it was back then, now things have changed. She let go of a lot of films. She was very disappointed."

It was a few months ago, when Manav Manglani sat for an interview with Bigg Boss contestant Kunickaa Sadanand, and revealed that when Katrina and Ranbir were dating, their private vacation photos were leaked by their close one, which ended up creating a stir outside. Katrina then released a statement slamming the magazine that released her private photos. She also tagged the person who released the photos a 'coward'. As per Katrina, that person, for commercial gains, breached her privacy, which was insensitive in every way.
