Rakul Preet Singh is one of the famous actresses in B-town who has always been upfront about her focus on healthy food choices and lifestyle. Recently, she sat down for a conversation with Ranveer Allahbadia on his podcast, discussed her exciting relationship with food, and shared how she considers food choices an essential factor in deciding her compatibility with someone. She revealed that once she rejected a potential partner because he ordered fried food. She was quoted as saying:

"I didn't want a frivolous man, or someone who shows off. These are still big things, I didn't even want anybody who would order fried food. I have rejected a person because he ordered fried gyozas."
Rakul went on to explain that she understands that everyone has different food choices. However, she was upset when he looked down on her food and questioned her for choosing healthy food. At that point, she asked him to leave. The actress said if she can't share a meal or a lifestyle with someone, it's challenging to think about having a bond for the future. In her words:
"People have their own food choices, but it got worse when he looked down upon the food I ordered. He was like, 'What are you eating, what is healthy?' And that's where I was like, 'Out'. If we can't share a meal and a lifestyle, it's pointless. I have seen friends fighting over Indian and Chinese food."

Rakul Preet Singh married actor-producer Jackky Bhagnani earlier this year after dating him for a few years. She opened up about her bond with Jackky and revealed that they love a particular protein bar and find it fun to share it. The Doctor G actress mentioned how she likes to enjoy small joys in life with her husband that can't be bought with money or fame. She said:
"There is this protein bar that Jackky and I love. For us, sharing that protein bar is fun. It's like our dessert. It's our joy. I come back from a shoot, he returns from his office, and we're like, 'Adha adha protein bar khaye kya?' These are small joys in life that money, fame and success can't buy."
