Rakhi Vijan Reveals What Kind Of Bond She Shared With Ex SIL Raveena Tandon, 'We'd Fight, Make Up..'

Rakhi Vijan is a well-known television actress, who is famous for her role in Hum Paanch. Rakhi was seen in shows like Dekh Bhai Dekh, Banegi Apni Baat, and Naagin 4, as well as in films like Golmaal Returns. Rakhi was also a part of the reality show, Bigg Boss 2. In her personal life, Rakhi got married to Raveena Tandon's brother, Rajeev Tandon. The couple ended their marriage after a decade of their togetherness. While the couple had opted for divorce, it was Raveena, who was dragged into the matter. Now, Rakhi has reacted to the same.

Rakhi Vijan talked about her bond with her ex-sister-in-law, Raveena Tandon

In an interview with Bollywood Thikana, Rakhi Vijan revealed that she has always tried to avoid the press, since, in her personal divorce matter, her ex-sister-in-law, Raveena Tandon was dragged. She further clarified that she shared a beautiful bond with Raveena, and they had been like real sisters. Rakhi revealed that there had been fights, but they made up, and they would often have fun by going to parties. Stating that they always loved each other, Rakhi revealed:

"I have always tried to avoid the press because they tend to drag Raveena’s name into my personal matters. Let me make it clear — Raveena and I shared a beautiful bond, like real sisters. We would fight, make up, go to parties, have fun, and always be loving towards each other."

In the same interview, Rakhi Vijan revealed that she has been married to a nice man, but things didn't work out between them, even when they tried to do the same, and thus, they decided to call it quits. Rakhi stated that the fact that she and Rajeev decided to part ways, it had nothing to do with Raveena or her parents, and it was solely her and her husband's decision. She further shared that there was not any kind of controversy in it. Rakhi can be quoted as saying:

"The person I married is a good person. We tried to make it work, but when it didn’t, we chose to part ways. It has absolutely nothing to do with Raveena Tandon, her mother, or her father. It’s between two individuals. There’s no controversy."

When Rakhi Vijan talked about not being in contact with Raveena and Rajeev Tandon

It was back in 2022 when, in an interview with ETimes, Rakhi Vijan revealed that she had taken a break from work a bit, as she needed some time to get over her broken marriage. She further clarified that she has not been in contact with her ex-husband, Rajeev, and ex-sister-in-law, Raveena. She further stated that she believes that people need to move on in such circumstances. In the same interview, Rakhi talked about finding love in the arms of the man of her dreams, Fareed Karachiwalla, post her divorce from Rajeev. She also expressed her wish to tie the knot for the second time with her new-found love.

In the same interview, Rakhi Vijan was asked about the reason for her separation. To this, she said that it was incompatibility, and she and Rajeev had different views in their lives. Rakhi mentioned that it took her 10 years to understand that this bond wouldn't survive like this, and thus, she and her ex-husband decided to cut ties. She also talked about getting constant support from Raveena Tandon during that tough phase of her life.
