For the unversed, Rakhi has accused her estranged husband of mental torture, cheating, sexual assaultation, and mishandling her funds. However, Adil is currently in jail. On June 14, 2023, Rakhi hinted that she had found someone new, but she is scared of her past traumas. Further in the interview, Rakhi's mystery man, Lucky was asked what he likes about the actress. To reply to such a question, he shared that Rakhi is different from what she appears to be in the media, and she is clean and caring and never wishes badly for anybody. Further, in the interview, Rakhi was asked if this friendship between her and Lucky could go to a different level. To answer such a question, Rakhi shared that she doesn't want to take any such decision in her life right now. Revealing the reason behind the same, Rakhi mentioned:

If a wife has to suffer so much after being so loyal, I think no wife should remain loyal...I really don't want to take the liberty of freedom that I have now. I still read my namaaz and Bible. Adil ki vajah se Islam mein hoon aur Mummy ki vajah se Christianity mein. But I am cornered from both ends. If I wear modern outfits, I am told that I have embraced Islam. If I read the namaaz, people object. Okay agar main Lucky ko pasand karti hoon kal, toh phir kya hoga? I don't know what to do."
In the same interview, Rakhi argued that she didn't use Lucky Singh or their friendship for a publicity stunt. Sharing the reason behind the same, Rakhi added that she would need a second to do a publicity stunt, so why would she use Lucky Singh for that? She also asked that if she is earning 'bread and butter' by telling people the truth, then what is wrong with that? Rakhi stated:

"It will take a second for me to do a publicity stunt. Why would I use Lucky Singh for that? Girls are shedding clothes. Am I shedding clothes? Agar main sach bolke apna bread and butter kamati hoon, so what’s wrong? I am in Bollywood and doing stunts is my bread and butter. Nobody can stop me. My parents are no more. But I don’t want to do any stunt forever."
