Rakesh Roshan On 'Karan Arjun's SRK Being A Part Of His Documentary, Not Salman, 'He'd Give Dates..'

Rakesh Roshan's Karan Arjun has ruled the Hindi film industry. The movie featured Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan as two brothers, and it is loved by the movie buffs to date. Rakesh recently released a documentary, The Roshans, on Netflix. It was Shah Rukh, who made an appearance on the documentary, but Salman Khan could not be seen. Recently, Rakesh was asked why Salman was not there on The Roshans, while Shah Rukh was there, and he revealed the actual reason behind the same.

Rakesh Roshan shared why Salman Khan was not a part of his documentary on Netflix

In an interview with News18 Showsha, Rakesh Roshan was asked about Salman Khan's absence from his documentary, The Roshans. Talking about the same, Rakesh shared that he had called Bhaijaan, but he was stuck in his own problems, thus, he couldn't make it. He said:

"I did call him up but he was stuck in his own problems and that’s why he couldn’t make it.”

The filmmaker further added that Salman wanted to be a part of the documentary, and even would give everyone dates, but in the end, it would get cancelled. Rakesh added that Salman was going through some issues, and they all could understand that he wasn't there, as, if he would have been there, he would surely shed some light on his experience working on Karan Arjun. In Rakesh Roshan's words:

"Salman really wanted to be a part of it and he would give us his dates but cancel it at the last moment. He has been going through the issues that we’re seeing going on these days. We all recognised that he wasn’t there. If he was there, he could’ve shared some more light on us and his experiences during Karan Arjun.”

Shatrughan Sinha added that Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan mocked Rakesh Roshan while working on Karan Arjun

In a clip from the documentary that went viral, Rakesh Roshan shared how he had to face challenges while shooting Karan Arjun. He revealed that even after the shot would get ready, Shah Rukh and Salman wouldn't show up and they were losing interest in the film. Rakesh mentioned how Shah Rukh and Salman would show up at the last moment of the shoot, and everyone had to rush. Well, Shatrughan Sinha, who was also a part of the documentary, shared that Salman and Shah Rukh had tormented Rakesh Roshan and even mocked him.

Shah Rukh, who is a part of the documentary, The Roshans, talked about the same and added that he and Salman actually troubled Rakesh a lot, as back then, they were two naughty kids who would disturb their father figure. Shah Rukh further shared that he once got scolded by Rakesh Roshan's wife for troubling the filmmaker way too much. SRK shared how Pinkie scolded him by saying that she had never expected that from him. Explaining the same, SRK revealed that among him and Salman, he was a bit better behaved, on the face, this is why Pinkie scolded him, and he blamed it on Salman Khan by saying that it used to be the latter's idea to cause trouble to Rakesh Roshan.
