Rajvir Jawanda's Latest Health Update, Punjabi Singer Is Not Conscious, Doctors Taking Time

Punjabi singer, Rajvir Jawanda recently met with a fatal bike accident that gave him serious spine and back injuries. The Punjabi music industry has been eagerly awaiting some good news regarding the singer's health. Rajvir is currently being treated at Fortis Hospital in Mohali. There have been false reports stating that the singer met with a cardiac arrest; however, fellow singer Kanwar Singh Grewal has now revealed that the singer is still unconscious.

Singer Kanwar Singh Grewal gave the latest update on Rajvir Jawanda's current health

There has been much fake news doing the rounds that Rajvir is no more. Amid this situation, Kanwar, in an interview with News18, shared that he has been improving but still remains in an unconscious state. He did share that the singer has been out of danger, but doctors had to take time to get everything in control. Kanwar shared:

"Rajvir Jawanda is stable now and thankfully out of immediate danger. The doctors are closely monitoring his condition and taking their time to ensure everything is under control. At the moment, he is not conscious, but we remain hopeful and positive about his recovery."

Kanwar also shared that this time has been pretty challenging for Rajvir and his family. Kanwar shared that he had requested everyone to respect their privacy and also keep Rajvir in their thoughts and prayers. Kanwar shared that everyone is standing and supporting him in this tough time. A statement from Fortis hospital has gone viral, which reads:

"As per available information, he sustained severe head and spine injuries in a road accident in the morning and also suffered a cardiac arrest before being shifted to Fortis Hospital, Mohali."

Rajvir Jawanda's health is being constantly monitored

When the singer was taken to the hospital, he was immediately assisted by the neurosurgery and emergency team. Detailed examinations were conducted on him, and then he was put on life support. He was reportedly earlier in a critical state, and his health is being monitored very closely. The hospital earlier did stated that Rajvir continued to be on a life support system and that a team of neurosurgery and critical care specialists is closely monitoring his condition around the clock.

Prayers from Rajvir's fans and fellow singers from the Punjabi entertainment industry have been pouring for his speedy recovery. Singer, Diljit Dosanjh had also halted his Hong Kong concert and requested his fans to pray for his 'Rajveer Veera'. Many film stars, including the Punjab Chief Minister, Bhagwant Mann, visited the hospital to keep a check on his current health.

Who exactly is Rajvir Jawanda?

Rajvir was born in Ludhiana to Sikh parents and is best known for his hit song, Kali Jawande Di. He is also known for his famous songs such as Mera Dil and Sardari. Rajvir apart from making his career in the singing industry also did an array of Punjabi movies and received a lot of love and admiration from his fans in the music domain. Rajvir has always been fond of riding bikes and has often posted clips of riding via mountainous areas. He is married and reportedly initially had dreamt of becoming a police officer, after completing his university. Rajvir took his path then in the field of music and then started off his career in the Punjabi music industry.
