Rajvir Jawanda's Death Hoax, Kanwar Urges Netizens To Not Spread 'RIP Posts', 'Don't Make Fun Of..'

Punjabi music fans have been praying for the speedy recovery of Jamme Naal De singer, Rajvir Jawanda. The musician was injured in a serious road accident and is currently admitted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali, where he is undergoing treatment for injuries to his head and spine. However, amid that, social media has been flooded with uncertainty and misleading 'RIP' posts. Now, fellow singer, Kanwar Singh Grewal has stepped forward with a clarification.

Kanwar Singh Grewal quashes death rumours about Rajvir Jawanda

Singer, Kanwar Singh Grewal shared a post on Instagram sharing a short update about Rajive Jawanda's health and urged social media users to refrain from creating panic. He requested netizens not to spread posts about Rajvir's death as he was recovering well under the supervision of the medical professionals. He assured the public that while the singer’s condition is serious, treatment is ongoing.

Kanwar Grewal expressed his extreme disappointment in the social media communities spreading the false death rumours. He shared that these posts were extremely hurtful, as Rajvir was seriously injured and fighting for his life. He was quoted as saying:

"I am at the Fortis Hospital in Mohali, where Rajvir’s treatment is ongoing, and he is recovering." 

Kanwar Grewal requests fans to pray for Rajvir Jawandha

In the same video clip, Kanwar Grewal also requested fans not to make fun of someone during their difficult time. He urged the fans to continue praying for Rajvir and stated:

"Rajvir is fighting for his life. With folded hands, I request that people refrain from making fun of someone’s sadness. Please pray for Rajvir."

Amrit Mann and Diljit Dosanjh pray for Rajvir Jawandha's recovery

 Amrit Maan also posted on Instagram, urging everyone to pray for Rajveer Jawandha so that he recovers soon and returns to his family. He added that there is great strength in prayer and requested everyone to refrain from spreading fake news, as it was a matter of a mother's son's life. Diljit Dosanjh also posted a heartfelt story with a message for Rajvir. The Lover singer was quoted as saying, "Praying for @rajvirjawandaofficial Veera. Just heard about the accident news." Amrit Maan's post could be read as:

"Aao saare Ardaas kariye Akaal Purakh Waheguru agge k saada bhraa Rajveer Jawandha jaldi theek hoke apne parivaar vich aa jaave. Ardaas vich boht taaqat hundi aa.. Aao saare mil k ardaas kariye. te ikk benti aa hatth jorh ksaarya nu k koi v fake news naa felaave..eh ikk maa de putt di zindagi da swaal aa ..Waheguru mehr karvo."

About Rajvir Jawanda's accident

Rajvir's bike reportedly collided near Baddi, where he lost control and his bike crashed. According to varied reports online, Rajvir suffered injuries to the spine as well as the head. His health was closely monitored when he was on the support system. Due to the severity of the injuries, Rajvir was put on life support. Many of his friends from the industry visited him to show support, and even the Punjab Chief Minister, Bhagwant Mann, expressed concern on social media and prayed for his speedy recovery.
