Rajpal Yadav Gets Teary Eyed After Saurabh Dwivedi Heaped Praises On Him, 'Doston Ki Madad Karne...'

Rajpal Yadav and popular journalist Saurabh Dwivedi are currently leading the headlines after the latter took an indirect jibe at the veteran actor regarding his legal case. It so happened that Rajpal Yadav graced the Chetak Screen Awards, which were hosted by Saurabh, and during one of the segments, the journalist mocked Rajpal over his cheque-bounce case.

Saurabh Dwivedi made Rajpal Yadav emotional by heaping praises on him

Once Rajpal Yadav graced Saurabh Dwivedi's talk show, Lallantop, where he discussed various aspects of his life. However, what drew people’s attention the most was the way the host, Saurabh Dwivedi, introduced Rajpal. Heaping praises about him and the charity he does, Saurabh said:

“Bahut bahut Swagat hai humare samay ke kamaal ke actor, kamaal ke insaan, doston ki madad karne waale aur uska dhindora kabhi na peetne waale Rajpal Yadav ka.”

As soon as Saurabh finished giving Rajpal’s introduction, the actor was seen getting emotional in the show. Wiping his tears away, Rajpal said, ‘pehle baar aapne emotional kar diya’. The actor was seen wiping his tears as he said he went back 30 years in his life. Talking a paise and recollecting his thoughts, Rajpal told Saurav that he has been a big fan of the journalist.

Saurabh Dwivedi was called out for insulting Rajpal Yadav at an award show

During the recently held Chetak Screen Awards, Rajpal Yadav was seen speaking about global chaos and fluctuating currencies. Responding to him, Saurav Dwivedi took a jibe at him and reminded him of his own dues as he said, ‘Rajpal bhai, no matter how much the dollar and rupee fluctuate, aapko utne hi paise lautane padenge jitne udhaar hain.’

However, instead of feeling offended by Saurabh’s dig, Rajpal chose to react to the same in the most dignified manner. The actor burst into laughter and told Saurab, ‘Main toh masla hi sunana chahta hoon.’ Though Rajpal answered the question with dignity, netizens weren’t too pleased with Saurabh Dwivedi’s distasteful comment and called out the veteran journalist for his mean comment on a public forum.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui once revealed how Rajpal Yadav helped struggling actors

Rajpal Yadav is one of the most poignant names and is hailed for his versatility as an actor. He had a breakthrough with Ram Gopal Varma’s film Jungle in 2000. With films like Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Phir Hera Pheri, Partner, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, Hungama, Malamaal Weekly, Garam Masala, Bhoothnath, Krrish 3, and many more, Rajpal has established himself as a name in slapstick comedy.

While many know Rajpal Yadav’s professional achievements, not many are aware of his charity. He is known for helping people without making a big deal about it. During an interview, Nawazuddin Siddiqui spoke about Rajpal Yadav and shared:

“When Rajpal was getting good work, he would feed a lot of people. He supported us when we were struggling in the industry. Not once did he back out from helping. He has helped many struggling actors. His house was like a langar—anybody could walk in and eat. He jokes a lot, but in reality, he is a very sensitive human being.”
