Rajkummar Rao Reveals Firing His 50-Year-Old Cook As He Did Not Listen To His Wife, Patralekhaa

Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao and his wife, Patralekhaa, are among the sweetest pairs in the industry. The actor recently revealed a very interesting story: He had fired his 50-year-old cook because he had disrespected his wife, Patralekhaa. It is not an unknown fact that most celebrities have a home cook. However, Rajkummar has zero tolerance for disrespect.

Rajkummar Rao shares how he fired his home cook after he disrespected Patralekhaa

Rajkummar was seen in Raunaq Rajani's show with comedians Abish Mathew and Urooj Ashfaq. The actor gave out relationship advice and revealed in the show named RelashionShit Advice, that his cook did not respect his wife. He used to disrespect her and had the habit of only listening to the male members of the home. The Bhool Chuk Maaf actor revealed his great cook be around 50. The actor was happy as the cook for the first time was making veg Mexican food, as otherwise the actor would only eat hari sabzi with rice. Rajkummar then added:

"He made a great Mexican platter for me, and after two days, Patra told me, 'Listen, this guy doesn't talk nicely to me. I think there's some issue'. And I could figure out. On the third day, when Patra asked him something, he made a face. But with me, he'd talk with a lot of respect. You know what I did? I called him and said, 'Aap apna bag pack kijiye aur chale jaiye."

The incident proved that Rajkummar is a darling husband and has zero tolerance towards anyone disrespecting Patralekhaa. Comedian Raunaq, on the other hand, had also shared of facing a similar incident, but he did not have the courage to fire his cook, who again did not respect his wife.

Rajkummar and Patralekhaa have always been there for each other at all times. They always take to their social media handles to share appreciation posts for one another. Patralekhaa in an earlier interview, had once spoken about how people thought that her journey in the entertainment industry was easier due to her husband, Rajkummar. Patralekhaa said:

"Kyunki aapko lagta hai meri zindagi aasaan ho sakti hai ki mere husband... ya mere tab ke boyfriend... itne famous thay. But it's never easy if you are trying to establish yourself as an individual, to have your own career graph... it's very difficult."

It was in November 2021 when Patralekhaa and Rajkummar got married to one another. They had dated one another for almost a decade and had taken to their social media to announce that after 11 years of love, romance, friendship and fun, they got married. For each other, they have been soulmates, best friends and also family. The actress hates being addressed as Rajkummar Rao's wife. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, she had shared:

"I detest it, and I feel very small. Kyunki mera ek naam hai… mera ek astitva hai. (Because I have a name… I have an identity). Aapko lagta hai meri zindagi asaan hai kyunki mere husband famous hai but it's never easy. If you are trying to establish yourself as an individual and have your own career, it is very difficult. I request the media not to do this because it takes a lot of hard work. I'll never be comfortable and will keep fighting till the day I die."
