Rajesh Khanna had a humungous female fan following. He was looked upon as a 'charmer', and Kaka was often called an 'epitome of romance'. Women of all age groups worshipped him, and in the history of Indian cinema, no one could influence fan hysteria like Rajesh Khanna. Komal Nahata, in an interview, also shared the remedies his sister's friends used to do when they came to know that Kaka was down with fever.

Rajesh Khanna was one actor who had written box office history. When the superstar passed away at 69, he left a void in the hearts of his female fans, who could not stop crying over their 'first hero' passing away. Now, Komal Nahata, in a recent interview with ANI, shared how girls used to get crazy when Kaka used to have a fever. They used to get Stardust magazine and do the psychopathic ritual. Komal said:

"Rajesh Khanna ke liye toh kaha jata hai when he was at the peak of his popularity agar unko bukhart hoh gaya toh ladkiyan. Mere sister ki school ki ladkiyan Stardust lati thi and you know jaise ki ek pura page Rajesh Khanna ka close up. Waha par Eau De Cologne ke pani ki pattiyan uske forehead pe karti thi ki mera Rajesh Khanna beemar hai. Yeh meri sister ke school ke friends ne kia hai."

Rajesh Khanna was the king of romance and his songs were the spine of his films. All generations would remember Kaka's chemistry with Babumoshai, Amitabh Bachchan's bond in Anand. Big B, once on the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati, remembered how Kaka's female fans used to take up dirt from Rajesh's car tyre and put it on their forehead as they wanted to take blessings. Amitabh shared:

"At the time, Rajesh Khanna was the biggest superstar in India. Kya aura tha, kya following thi…His presence was so powerful that when he arrived, women would take the dirt from his car’s tyres and apply it to their foreheads as a blessing."

Kaka was not just a phenomenal actor; he also had an evergreen charm. It is said that when he broke the hearts of his fans and got married to Dimple Kapadia, his crazy female fans started writing love letters to him in blood. His female fans used to follow his car, take his name and also leave behind their lipstick marks. Females became crazy for men in uniform after Kaka played the role of an Air Force Officer in the 1969 movie, Aradhana. His killer looks had left everyone swooning, and Rajesh Khanna, in Air Force uniform, was the epitome of the ultimate man in the 1970s. All the girls were crazy after him.
