Rajeev Sen And Charu Asopa's Fallout, Leaves Netizens Divided, Says, 'Tum Acche Baap Hotey Toh...'

Charu Asopa got married to Sushmita Sen's brother, Rajeev Sen, back in 2019. However, their marital bliss was short-lived, and the couple divorced in 2023. The duo's relationship ended on an ugly note, but after their separation, they mended things for the well-being of their daughter, Ziana. Rajeev and Charu even often dropped posts with one another, which left people wondering if they had gotten back together. Nonetheless, Charu left everyone shocked as she revealed that she was quitting acting and shifting her base back to her hometown due to a financial crisis, which led her to sell suits online. 

Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen's online fallout

Ever since the news about Charu Asopa leaving the film industry surfaced online, things have been growing difficult between her and her ex-husband, Rajeev Sen. While Charu claimed that she has been transparent on her part, her ex-husband, Rajeev, dismissed her claims of financial crisis and so much so, accused her of trying to keep his daughter away. Charu Asopa and Rajeev Sen's separation saga, unfortunately, has spanned a longer time than their actual short-lived marriage. Charu has been extremely open about her life post-separation, especially raising her daughter, Ziana, on her own terms and her own steam. While the news of her moving away from Mumbai caused a stir online, the former actress revealed that it was to build her clothing business and simultaneously focus on her and Rajeev's 3-year-old daughter, Ziana. 

While the high costs turned into a problem for Charu Asopa, she has been candid about her unwillingness to leave her daughter with a nanny. In a conversation with HT City, Charu assured that Rajeev can see his daughter as and when he likes. However, he will have to visit her in Bikaner. On the other hand, Rajeev accused Charu of trying to keep his daughter away from him. He revealed that Charu had mastered the skills to do so, and he felt bad because, in the end, it was his daughter, Ziana, who was losing in this. He also claimed that when he was in Delhi, he asked Charu to meet Ziana, but he was met with cold silence.

Once HT City shared the conversation online, netizens were forced to pick sides. A user penned, "Tum acche baap hote to beti ko bina papa ke rehna nahi padta." Another stated, "Stop it, Rajeev, let her live peacefully; you have brought her to this place." A comment read, "What she can afford single-handedly she did that, nothing wrong in that...If he wants his daughter in touch with him... Make efforts, visit her." An Instagram user stated:

"And you have mastered the art of womanising, playing with legal systems to avoid paying alimony and streedhan and child support. Also mastered co-parenting in the namesake just for a new YouTube video every 3 months. You are a perfect example of the Life of a lemon. You shall forever reap what you shall sow. Your sister raised 2 orphan girls, and you can't raise your own blood daughter. Shame on your mardangi. Start seeing a namard in you next time u see yourself in the mirror, as that's how India shall see u now."

On the other hand, some netizens spoke for Rajeev and stated, "It seems every time the man is blamed. Not fair. This time, Charu has overdone it for herself; there can never be a one-way relationship." Another said, "Why does she disclose her personal life on every platform?" A user penned, "Charu is not doing right. He has always been trying to be a good dad." A user wrote:

"Don’t understand why moms do this! They may have hundreds of issues with husband but keeping their child away from father is the most cruel thing. I have seen him posting happy pics with his daughter."
