Bigg Boss 18 has been making headlines for its friendships, blooming love, and snide remarks. However, it has been stirring controversies since its premiere in October 2024, with contestants making vexed statements. The latest episode was no different, as Rajat Dalal once again made a shocking comment in the game.
In the promo released for the upcoming episode of Bigg Boss 18, Rajat Dalal was seen making a shocking comment against Shilpa Shirodkar. In the promo, Vivian Dsena, Rajat Dalal, and Digvijay Singh Rathee were asked to pick which contestant should not be allowed to participate in the race to become the new Time God. As a part of the process, they were asked to break the miniatures of the contestants they wanted to forbid from the race. Rajat Dalal chose to break the miniature of actress, Shilpa Shirodkar. He kicked the miniature and said:

"Shilpa Ji, laat se hi maarna padega."
On November 26, 2024, the makers of the reality show released a promo in which Bigg Boss announced a task for selecting the new Time God. While the task commenced, Shilpa was seen sitting a short distance from where it was being performed. She responded to Rajat’s comment and said that the latter was already hitting her with his words. Rajat then proceeded to smash Shilpa's miniature.
“Aap shabdo se toh maar hi date ho, laat se bhi maar hi do."
After Rajat, Vivian Dsena was shown in the promo. He destroyed the miniature of Karan Veer Mehra and said that he is not a deserving candidate because he makes personal attacks on his housemates. Karan Veer Mehra clapped back and said it took Vivian two attempts to be a Time God.
Rajat Dalal has gained traction on the show for the wrong reasons since he entered the Bigg Boss 18 house. This was not the first altercation he had gotten involved in. During the recent Weekend Ka Vaar episode that featured Hina Khan as co-host along with Salman Khan, the latter warned Rajat about his controversial behaviour. He said:

A while back, Kashish Kapoor was seen having an altercation with fitness influencer Rajat Dalal. During their quarrel, Kashish called out Rajat for a past incident that happened outside the Bigg Boss House. She sneered at him that at least she didn't knock people off with her car, which angered Rajat, further fueling the quarrel.
