With an inspirational career graph, Shweta Tiwari had a completely opposite personal life which was nothing but a roller-coaster one. It was in 1998 when Shweta was just 19-year-old, she had tied the knot with the then struggling actor, Raja Chaudhary. Shweta had met Raja through her friend, who was his cousin and soon, their friendship had blossomed into love. After a few months of courtship period, Shweta and Raja had decided to take their relationship to the next level. But because Raja was a struggling actor at that time, Shweta’s mother wasn’t supportive of their marriage decision. But Shweta had decided to marry Raja, and two years into marital bliss, the couple had welcomed their daughter, Palak Tiwari. A few years into married life, their relationship had gone toxic and Shweta became a victim of domestic violence. In 2007, Raja and Shweta had officially separated and were granted divorce.
Shweta Tiwari had turned 40 on October 4, 2020, and the celebrations were doubled as after recovering from the novel coronavirus, she had stepped out for the first time. After more than two decades of Shweta Tiwari's debut, we will finally get to see her mini-me, Palak Tiwari making her name in the industry, following her mother's footsteps. About her Bollywood debut, Palak had announced on her social media that she'll be starring opposite Vivek Oberoi in Rosie: The Saffron Chapter. In July, sharing the first look, Palak had written, "Super excited to share the news of my debut in & as #Rosie! And here's my first poster! Thank you #PrernaVArora @vivekoberoi for the opportunity & @visalmisra for the guidance." On her post, her dad, Raja Chaudhary had commented, "Way to go" followed by a thumbs-up emoji.
Post her divorce with Raja Chaudhary, love had knocked the door of Shweta Tiwari’s heart again and she had tied the knot with actor, Abhinav Kohli. In 2016, Shweta and Abhinav were blessed with a son, Reyansh Kohli. Everything seemed greener on their side until a report emerged in the media about trouble in Abhinav and Shweta’s paradise in 2019. Since then, Abhinav and Shweta have been living separately and the kids are staying with their mother. But when Shweta tested positive with COVID-19, she had sent Reyansh to her father’s house. Speaking about the same in an interview with ETimes, Shweta had said, "Well, thankfully I have sufficient rooms. So, I have quarantined myself. Palak (daughter) is also very particular about social distancing. It's a tough time no doubt. Even on the sets, it's so difficult to shoot. It's so edgy at times. When will we come out of this pandemic?" When asked about Reyansh, she had retorted, "I have sent him to his father."
