In 2001, when the red dupatta slipped on Ekta Kapoor's show, Kasautii Zindagi Kay, the television lovers had found one of the most talented actors, Shweta Tiwari. Shweta had become a household name as one of the most popular bahus of Indian television industry and in her career span of more than two decades, she had revolutionised her roles and choices in scripts. While Shweta Tiwari had an inspiring professional graph, her personal life has been nothing less than a roller-coaster ride. After her unhappy first marriage with Raja Chaudhary, Shweta Tiwari had tied the knot for the second time with Abhinav Kohli. And while her married life with Abhinav and her two kids, Palak Tiwari and Reyansh Kohli had looked greener, the reports of troubles in their marriage that had emerged in the media in 2019 and some mudslinging on social media and interviews since then, had shown the reality of their side. Shweta didn't let the problems in her married life affect her little ones' lives.

After more than two decades of Shweta Tiwari's debut, we will finally get to see her mini-me, Palak Tiwari making her name in the industry, following her mother's footsteps. About her Bollywood debut, Palak had announced on her social media that she'll be starring opposite Vivek Oberoi in Rosie: The Saffron Chapter. Sharing the first look, Palak had written, "Super excited to share the news of my debut in & as #Rosie! And here's my first poster! Thank you #PrernaVArora @vivekoberoi for the opportunity & @visalmisra for the guidance." On her post, her dad, Raja Chaudhary commented, "Way to go" followed by a thumbs-up emoji.

In an interview with the Pinkvilla, Palak Tiwari had revealed how her disagreements and arguments with her mom, Shweta Tiwari becomes dramatic. She was quoted as saying, "Because she is an actor and I am an aspiring actor, we constantly have this thing. So everything she will say to me will be very dramatic because she comes from TV. There have been on and off reports about Palak Tiwari's debut in the entertainment industry and Shweta Tiwari had always clarified that only after completing the education, her daughter would venture into showbiz. In an interview with the Hindustan Times, Shweta had said, "She’s waiting for a right project to come. She also wants to finish her studies first. She doesn’t want to hop into her career without proper education. She wants to take a degree and then start working. What she keeps saying is ‘When people come to interview me, I want to sound like Amit (Amitabh Bachchan) ji and Shah Rukh Khan, larger than life. I want to be well-read, I want to sound educated.’"

When Shweta Tiwari was asked if she shares her work experience with her daughter, Palak Tiwari, she had retorted, “I do guide her only when she comes to me. Otherwise, I feel she is very mature and knows exactly what she wants. The kind of exposure that is there these days around us, they already know so much.”

For the uninitiated, Shweta Tiwari had gotten married to a now-famous Bhojpuri actor, Raja Chaudhary when she was 19. After almost a decade of being in an unhappy and bitter marriage, she had finally come out in the open and had spoken about facing domestic violence with Raja.
