Rahul Chahar Announces Separation From Ishani, Spent 15-Months In Courtroom, Divorce Costed Him Alot

Indian cricketer, Rahul Chahar has been through the toughest phase, as per his Instagram post. The cricketer revealed that he had been navigating 15 months of his life in the courtrooms to share his truth. He also shared that his divorce has cost him a lot. For the unversed, Rahul Chahar and Ishani Johar married in 2022 in Goa.

Rahul Chahar announces his divorce with a heartbreaking post

In a world, where celebrities try to hide their ordeals and pain, Rahul Chahar took another route. On February 20, 2026, Rahul took to his Instagram handle and shared a note as he confirmed his separation from Ishani Johar. The 26-year-old cricketer started his post by mentioning that he entered marriage at a young age of 22, before he could understand what he wanted from his life. Later, he got lessons he never expected his 15 months were sepnt navigating courtrooms. He wrote:

"I entered marriage at a young age, before I fully understood myself, my worth, or the life I truly wanted to build. What followed were years of lessons I never expected, and the last fifteen months spent navigating courtrooms, learning patience, resilience, and the strength that some from in truth."

Rahul further added that the chapter is legally closed. He added that the matter has been settled with a divorce that cost him a lot. Rahul further stated that he has closed the chapter with no regret or anger but clarity. He added that some relationships are not meant to last but to teach and transform us. He wrote:

"Today, that chapter of my life formally comes to a close. After due legal process, the matter has been settled with my resolution that costed a lot, bringing finality to this phase of my life. I close this chapter not with anger or regret, but with clarity. Some relationships are not meant to last forever they are meant to awaken us, teach us. and transform us. I move forward wiser, more self-aware, and certain of the life I deserve to build."

Rahul further clarified that it is not an ending but a reset, and a promise that everything he would create will be set on self-respect, peace and better choices. He shared that he has no bitterness but only lessons. He concluded the post by writing:

"This is not an ending. it is a release. A reset. A promise that everything I create from here will stand on self-respect, peace, and better choices. I carry forward no bitterness only lessons, dignity, and the courage to begin again."
