It was back in 2018, when Rahul Arunoday Banarjee penned down a poignant piece. The title of the passage was Bandhobi, wherein Rahul wrote that after death, he was feeling a regal air. In the post, he wrote that the death was sudden, while adding that it was Durga Puja immersion, and he missed the last step. Rahul added that 42 isn't an age to die. He penned the note as if he were watching his mortal remains being dragged out of the water. The eerie similarity of his old writing and tragic death has left people shocked.

In the note, he went on to add that his sister-in-law was shocked by his death, while his brother was watching a cricket match. He also shared how his death had impacted his close ones. For the unversed, Rahul's director, Shubhasish Mandal, revealed that the late actor insisted on making a drone scene, and when he was giving the shot, he slipped and fell into the sea. He swallowed water, and after the rescue team saved him, he was taken to the hospital. He responded twice before reaching the hospital; however, upon arrival, he was pronounced dead.
