Raghav Juyal Sets The Record Straight On Rumours Of Him Dating Shehnaaz Gill, 'It Does Affect Me..'

Raghav Juyal is a popular TV anchor and actor who has impressed audiences with his recent performance in Kill. Earlier, the actor was seen in the film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, where he worked with Shehnaaz Gill. They often shared photos that immediately started speculations about their relationship. Recently, Raghav Juyal sat down for an interview with India Today and shared his response to these rumours.

Raghav Juyal admits that he won't use anyone's name to gain popularity

Raghav or Shehnaaz never formally accepted the dating rumours and often said otherwise. But fans didn't stop speculating about something more in their bond. Raghav Juyal accepted that these rumours related to his personal life affected him, and he has worked hard to establish his identity in showbiz. So, he would never use anyone's name to get publicity. He was quoted as saying:

"Honestly, it does affect me a lot. I have worked really hard to become an actor. I am not an overnight star. And I am not a star because of such headlines. I am being talked about because of my craft and my art. Also, I will never use someone's name to be in headlines. I want my acting, my talent, and my art to speak rather than my personal life. I have been following this for 14 years, and I will do the same forever."

Raghav earlier denied dating Shehnaaz Gill

When the rumours began, Raghav and Shehnaaz were often asked about the same in interviews. In an interview with Times of India, Raghav said that it was natural for people to make speculations because he worked opposite Shehnaaz in the 2023 film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. But they were not dating each other, and he was single. In his words:

"Shehnaaz and I have acted in the film together, that's it. It is natural for people to ask questions about your co-actors, but no, we are not dating. I am single."

Salman Khan's statement during the film promotions sparked the dating rumours

Salman Khan played the protagonist and produced Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. He often shared his experience of working with the cast, including Pooja Hegde, Raghav Juyal, and Shehnaaz Gill during promotions. At one of the promotional events, the actor said that he witnessed some sort of chemistry between Shehnaaz and Raghav that led fans to speculate about their possible relationship. However, Raghav later denied it, saying that Salman Khan had just cracked a joke. Salman Khan had said:

"I saw a chemistry being built between two people on set. But nothing happened, at least from one person's end. The other one was eager."

On the work front, Raghav was last seen in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, co-starring Salman Khan, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari and more. He was most recently seen in the film, Kill, co-starring Lakshay Lalwani. It was released on July 5, 2024. Raghav, who plays the antagonist in the movie, has received much praise for his performance.
