With just a few days remaining to the grand fashion gala, the fans are excited to see which Bollywood stars will be gracing the MET carpet this year.

Priyanka Chopra to dazzle the MET carpet for the fifth time

Priyanka Chopra Jonas is among the most iconic divas in Bollywood, who has, with her impeccable acting talents, made herself a global name. So, while it's no surprise that the actress has attended the prestigious gala four times before, there is more good news for the fans. Our beloved queen, PeeCee, will be making an appearance at the grand fashion event for the fifth time! Yes, according to a report by the Hindustan Times, the Desi Girl will be dazzling the Gala on May 5, 2025. 

According to the reports, Priyanka Chopra will be partnering with Olivier Rousteing of Balmain for the grand event. The actress is set to make another unforgettable appearance with a couture masterpiece that embodies both cinematic royalty and fashion power. However, that is not all! PeeCee will be accessorising some statement jewellery pieces from Bvlgari's newest high jewellery collection, which can be no less than magic!

Priyanka Chopra Jonas made her first appearance at the prestigious MET Gala in 2017 in a thigh-high slit Ralph Lauren gown with an upturned collar. The appearance also marked the actress' first appearance with her now-husband, Nick Jonas. The actress graced the gala once again in 2018, once again going with Ralph Lauren. In 2019, the actress made an appearance in an exquisite Dior Haute Couture look with her husband, Nick Jonas, as her date. In 2023, the Bajirao Mastani star made an appearance in a gorgeous Valentino gown with big bows and a ruffled-edge cape. 

MET Gala theme for 2025, Superfine: Tailoring Black Style

While there has been no confirmation about who will set the MET carpet on fire with their stellar looks, we can be sure that it will most definitely be an event to look out for. For the unversed, MET is an invite-only event, which is sent by none other than the editor-in-chief of Vogue, Anna Wintour, who has chaired or co-chaired the MET Gala since 1995, except for the 1996 MET Gala. However, an invite doesn't mean a confirmed seat. One has to pay 75,000 USD as an entry fee, and if one wants a place at the 10-seater table, they have to pay 350,000 USD. The theme for MET 2025 is 'Superfine: Tailoring Balck Style'.

Other Bollywood stars who might be in attendance

Priyanka Chopra won't be the only Bollywood star on the MET carpet. According to reports, Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly set to wear a custom Sabyasachi ensemble. Fans are excited to see how this reunion between 'Don' and 'Roma' will go down. On the other hand, Kiara Advani is expected to wow with her graceful maternity style. Diljit Dosanjh and Isha Ambani are also in talks to attend, making this year's event a true celebration of Indian glamour on the global stage.
