Finally the moment is here and we can’t keep calm as Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas in their bride and groom avatars have left us speechless with their breathtakingly beautiful wedding pictures. Priyanka and Nick became each other’s forever on December 1-2, 2018, and ever since then, we were eagerly waiting to a get a glimpse of the bride and the groom from the Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur. In a video released from Priyanka and Nick’s white wedding, we can see the bride walking down the aisle for her Christian wedding in a custom Ralph Lauren gown with floral and scroll motifs and lace-effect tulle appliqués with scalloped sleeves and a high-neck collar. The hand-beaded and hand-embroidered gown also included mother of pearl pailettes, crystal seed beads, and Swarovski crystals - which took a total of 1,826 hours to complete. Underneath the long-sleeve gown was a strapless column dress made up of over two million mother of pearl sequins. The look was topped off by a 75 feet long tulle veil.
The groom, Nick wore a custom Ralph Lauren label, six-button double breasted black tuxedo and custom patent lace up dress shoes. Inside of his purple lapel of the tuxedo, he added a small piece of lace from the bride's dress embroidered with the Urdu words My Jaan which translates to "My Life". Speaking about the western wedding to Hello magazine, Priyanka had said, "For the western wedding, we had been talking to a bunch of incredible designers. But ultimately when Ralph Lauren approached us (they're so much a part of our love story for obvious reasons) and I learned that Ralph has only designed three wedding dresses in 50 years - one for his daughter, his daughter in law, and his niece - I was blown. Then when we went in for the sketch presentation, they created exactly what I envisioned for myself on my wedding day... and I said yes to the dress."

For the Hindu wedding, Priyanka wore a Sabyasachi traditional red lehenga featuring heavy detailing of intricate embroidery and fine jewels as well as sequin work. The traditional gold jewellery and a flower garland accentuated her look. She revealed, "For the Indian wedding, I wore Sabyasachi. I always knew I wanted a red traditional silhouette for my wedding but Sabya brought in incredible French embroidery to the mix and with incredible jewelry and western inspired veil it was just such an amalgamation of who I am!" Priyanka and Nick shared the glimpses of the rangeen mehendi ceremony on their official social media handles, and captioned them as, “One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each others faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing. An important part for the girl in an Indian wedding is the Mehendi. Once again we made it our own and it was afternoon that kicked of the celebrations in the way we both dreamed.”
On December 2, 2018, Priyanka shared a glimpse of the fun-filled sangeet ceremony, and wrote, "It all began as a fierce song and dance competition between the families but ended, as always, as a huge celebration of love. Nick and I were looking forward to the sangeet (musical evening), another pre wedding ritual.. and to see what each side had put together. And what a performance it was. Each family telling our stories through song and dance, filled with lots of laughter and love. We were both filled with gratitude for the effort, the love and the laughter and will carry the memories of this special evening for the rest of our lives. It is an amazing start to a lifetime of togetherness for our families and friends."
Priyanka and Nick exchanged their wedding vows on December 1, 2018, and the groom’s father, Paul Kevin Jonas Sr., officiated the Christian ceremony. The wedding took place at the back lawn of the hotel and the couple exchanged wedding bands by famed jeweler Chopard. Then the following day, Priyanka and Nick took the saat pheres as per Hindu rituals on December 2, 2018.
