For the unversed, Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra's alleged affair started during the filming of the movie, Don 2. After Gauri Khan learnt about it, she forbade her husband to never work with Priyanka again.
Priyanka Chopra once almost confirmed her relationship with Shah Rukh Khan as she graced the show Dirty Laundry and brought the actor's jacket as her most treasured possession. When the host asked Priyanka about the leather jacket, she shared that it belonged to her ex-boyfriend. Adding that it was her airport jacket, she said:

"I was a little unsure about this one, whether I should (get it or not). But your show is called Dirty Laundry, so I thought might as well. This is a jacket that I literally live in. It's my airport jacket, but it belonged to an ex-boyfriend."

The host, Laura Brown, probed Priyanka about the jacket and asked her to share the back story. Responding to the same, PeeCee said that once her ex-boyfriend stayed at her place and left the jacket there, and since then, the garment has belonged to her. She further added:
"Things get exchanged. But this one I really really loved because it kind of became mine. It stopped being him like after it stayed back in my house once and I just kind of wore it. He asked for it and I said no. I was like 'no'. That's what happens in a relationship. Sorry! And I don't even think about it."
Now, a netizen shared a collage of Priyanka and Shah Rukh Khan wearing a brown-coloured D&G jacket, leaving everyone nostalgic. The pictures showed the alleged ex-couple flaunting the same jacket on different occasions. It was clear proof that once Priyanka dated Shah Rukh Khan, and netizens were quick to react to it.

Earlier, we got hold of a video wherein Shah Rukh Khan, who was sitting with Katrina Kaif, addressed the much-talked-about rumours of his linkup with Priyanka Chopra. The actor said that it was disturbing for him to see the lady, who has worked with him, being questioned and disrespected over some unverified rumours. He was quoted as saying:
"To me, what is most disturbing is the fact that a lady who's worked with me has been questioned, and somewhere down the line, she's not being shown the kind of respect I show her or all the women. I think it’s a little disrespectful."
In the same interview, Shah Rukh also apologised to his fans for hurting them and clarified that he was saying sorry because Priyanka is one of his closest friends. He even mentioned that he did nothing wrong and added:
"I'm extremely sorry about that. Sorry means... it’s not directly because of anything I’ve done but because she’s my friend. She’s one of the closest friends I have, very close to my heart, and always will be."
