Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary CONFIRMS Breakup With Ankit Gupta, Says 'One Has To Move On...'

Ankit Gupta and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary were one of the most loved television couples after they appeared on the show, Udaariyaan. However, they left their millions of fans in shock when they unfollowed each other on social media. For those who don't know, 'unfollowing' on Instagram is a public announcement of separation. Now, the actress seems to have confirmed her separation.

Recently, in an interview with the IANS, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary shared her thoughts on evolving and moving on in life. She stated that it was good to evolve, whether it is a relationship or fashion. She was quoted as saying:

"I believe it is always good to evolve- changes are always good. One has to move forward in order to evolve. So, definitely, it is a good thing to evolve, whether it is in a relationship or fashion."

Ankit and Priyanka's breakup buzz went viral after they stopped following each other on their social media handles. Later, Ankit's decision to leave Tere Ho Jaayen Hum, which featured Priyanka Chahar, further ignited the rumours. Fans were shocked and wondered if Ankit's decision came in the heat of his separation from Priyanka. The actor denied the same. He said:

"Yes, I backed out of the project with Ravi Sargun. I don't think that I would be able to do something for that project right now. And maybe I need some time for myself to rejuvenate and recharge myself. And as I said, maybe that's the reason I will not do Khatron Ke Khiladi also this year. I'm just taking time for myself, so I'm not thinking about work right now."

Ankit stated that he needed personal time and wasn't in the right frame of mind to commit to a project. The show, which is being produced by Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta, is going ahead without Ankit being a part of it. However, the producers have not commented on the ongoing situation. When India Forums asked Ankita about his breakup buzz, he snapped:'

"Not commenting on that."

The duo is a proud owner of one-acre land on the moon.
