Rani Mukerji is one of the most versatile actresses in Bollywood. She is often spotted being goofy with her contemporaries and shares a great bond with them. However, she apparently had a tiff with actress, Preity Zinta. The duo's statements and gestures towards each other are a testament to their alleged rivalry. For those who have been living under a rock, here's a throwback video which shows how the two actresses developed cold feelings for one another.
Recently, an old video was shared on Reddit, which was from Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor's appearance on one of the episodes of Koffee With Karan. In the clip, Preity Zinta made a special appearance and talked about her equation with Kareena. She mentioned that she feels Bebo holds a grudge against her as she replaced her in the film, Kal Ho Na Ho and added that the latter only greets her when Karan Johar is around. Preity said:
"Kareena, thank you for Kal Ho Na Ho. Don't hold me for it, you always hold me for it. I don't have any problem with her, but, I do have a problem when she ignores me. I don't like that. Kareena says hi to me when Karan is around. I think, Kareena, we are both actors of the Indian film industry and we should just take a chill-pill."

After Preity's clip was played during the episode, Rani also added that she thinks that Preity should talk less and advised the latter to keep her opinion to herself. She also slammed Preity for talking too much and said:
“I think Preity talks too much, she should talk less. That’s the only thing I want to tell her through your show. I think she has an opinion about everything. I think she should cut that out.”

Later, during her appearance on the popular reality show, Koffee With Karan, Preity Zinta was asked about her catfights with her contemporaries, Rani Mukerji and Kareena Kapoor. The show's host, Karan, said, "There was like, always talks about, you know, you and Rani on the warpath. You and Kareena are having problems. And you know, Rani coming on this very show and saying, 'Oh, Preity talks too much, and she should keep her opinions to herself'." Reacting to this, Preity hilariously mentioned:
"Yeah. But I always joke with Rani. Everytime I meet Rani, I go zip. And she's like, 'No babe, I didn't mean that'."

When Rani Mukerji appeared on Karan Johar’s show, Koffee With Karan, with Kareena Kapoor Khan, she made a shocking revelation about her ‘not so friendly’ relationship with Preity Zinta. Mentioning that since she shares some resemblance with the fellow actress and had a comfortable bond with her, the media thought that they were best friends. Rani Mukerji added:
“I think maybe because me and Preity, we look the same, we both are the same kind of body language and all so we look great together onscreen. When journalists came on the sets, what they saw was that Preity and me were very comfortable on the sets with each other when we were working and I guess that was blown out of proportion in magazines. We tried to clear out to people that we are not really the best of friends and we don’t go out together but no one was buying that. But that is the fact.”
