One post-wedding ‘ritual’ of our actresses that many onlookers look forward to, is the change in their surname. It is beautiful to see them adding their hubby’s surname to their name. Did she get inspired from the actresses that are getting married recently and adding their hubby's name/surname to theirs? If you remember, Sonam Kapoor too, changed her surname to Sonam K Ahuja, hardly a few hours after her wedding. Her hubby, Anand too, broke all stereotypes by changing his name to Anand S Ahuja. Probably, Preity too, felt that it was high time to do the same. The actress changed her surname on her Instagram and Twitter handle to ‘Preity G Zinta’. Take a look:

Right after her marriage in 2016, a fan had asked her if she has any probable plans to change her surname. To which the dimpled actress had tweeted back saying, “I guess I have been my father’s daughter longer than I am someone’s wife so technically not changing right now.” Preity, being her wittier self, also joked that her hubby was “goodenough” when a fan asked her about her spouse. She shared, “Not Bad, not too good cuz that’s boring ... Just Goodenough?? Hahahahah.”

Preity also shared with her fans about her meet with Gene. She quipped, “I met him in Santa Monica in Los Angeles. Then we dated for five years and we finally got married.” She jokingly added, “I am not going to tell you the details.” (Checkout! Time and experience has made Preity understand the true meaning of love as she once shared, "I believe in true love, but it gets figured out by the couple with time only. Love stays only when respect goes hand in hand".

In a throwback interview with The Indian Express in 2017, Preity said, "Women, in general, are superwomen. They take care of the home and work. They are very few men who do that. For me it is very simple, I am married, working and very happy. I am lucky that I am married to a person who actually pushed me into doing a movie. I thought I didn’t want to do any more movies and I moved to the business side of life." Preity, we want more of you in the spotlight! Agree guys? (Don't Miss!
