Prateik Babbar First Time Steps Out With Wife, After Step-Siblings Claimed He Is Being Brain-Washed

Prateik Babbar gave love another chance by getting married to his longtime love, Priya Banerjee. However, his new chapter unfolded with a lot of new entanglements as he chose not to invite the Babbar family to his wedding. Prateik Babbar is the son of Raj Babbar and the late actress, Smita Patil. The actor once used to share a beautiful bond with his step-siblings, Juhi Babbar and Arya Babbar, but things changed, and the family is deeply hurt.

On February 15, 2025, a day after his grand wedding, Prateik Babbar was papped out and about in the city with his wife, Priya Banerjee. The couple twinned in black as Priya was dressed up in a white-hued shirt with denim jeans and a black blazer. On the other hand, Prateik wore a white shirt teamed with denim and a black sweater.

Prateik Babbar's sister, Juhi Babbar revealed why Prateik didn't invite the family to his wedding

A wedding is the most important day in a person's life, and people get deeply hurt when they are not invited or called to their loved ones' wedding. The Babbar family was in shock and hurt as Prateik chose not to make them a part of his celebrations. In an interview with The Times Of India, Juhi Babbar shared the reason why Prateik kept them excluded from his happiness.

Juhi told the publications that he is being surrounded by some people who have influenced him and brain-washed him. However, they do not want him to become a sandwich. She also clarified that it is not related to Priya, and she is a wonderful girl. She was quoted as saying:

"Right now, he is surrounded by a few people — whom we don’t wish to name — who have influenced him. But we don’t want to sandwich him in the middle because that won’t help anyone. When I say sandwich, it doesn’t mean Prateik is caught between Priya and us — absolutely not. Priya is a wonderful girl, and he is extremely fortunate to have found a partner who truly loves and understands him. The real sandwiching is happening because of someone else — someone desperate for publicity and importance."

Arya Babbar took an ugly dig at his step-brother, Prateik Babbar's wedding after he didn't invite him to his wedding

As soon as Prateik Babbar's second wedding photos and videos surfaced on the internet, a roast video by his step-brother, Arya Babbar, also made rounds. The stand-up comedian was seen taking a nasty dig at his brother's second wedding. He trolled him by stating that their father, Raj Babbar, was married twice, and his sister, Juhi Babbar, also got married twice.

Not only this, Arya even included Prateik Babbar, who also got married for the second time. Jokingly he added that his dog also has two girlfriends. Further, he expressed how he also wants to get married again, but he is scared of the complications of divorce. He said:

"Papa ne 2-2 shaadi kari, didi ne 2-2 shaadi kari, ab mera bhai 2-2 shaadi kar raha hai, yaha tak ki mera jo doggy hai, Happy uski bhi 2-2 girlfriends hai. Ab mai bhi karun tab, par mai-mai fasta hoon, kya hai na dusri shaadi karne mein problem nai hai, karo yaar, but I am too lazy to go through the complications of divorce."
