Rippling's Co-Founder, Prasanna's Wife Claims He Forcibly Took Son, Shares His Criminal History

Over the past few months, India has witnessed a large number of cases where men suffered at the hands of their wives. From Bengaluru techie Atul Subhash, who ended his life after suffering from his wife's legal harassment, to Agra TCS techie, who killed himself after finding out about his wife's extra-marital affair. Amidst it, a new case has left the nation in shock, wherein a famous billion-dollar company, Rippling's co-founder, Prasanna Sankar accused his wife and police of harassing him and trying to take away his son. However, his wife, Dhivya, has an entirely different take on the whole matter.

For the unversed, Prasanna Sankar, co-founder of the USD 10 billion tech company, took to X and revealed he is going through a divorce and accused his wife, Dhivya Shashidhar, of infidelity and claimed she had abducted their nine-year-old son. However, his estranged wife, Dhivya, a US citizen, has been getting help from the Chennai police to get her son back. Dhivya claimed that it was her husband who had abducted their son. Not only this, she even accused her husband of being a sexual pervert.

Dhivya alleged that her husband lost his job in the US after he was arrested in San Francisco on charges of soliciting prostitution. She further stated that her husband is a sexual pervert and would film assaults on women using secret cameras and claimed that she was subjected to similar abuses while being with him. She pleaded and said:

"People say that children grow up in a similar way as their parents. My father-in-law has also indulged in sexual offences. He abused my mother-in-law and chased her away from home. Now I am in need of desperate help from Chennai police. Please help."

Further, Divya claimed that her husband threatened her and their son over a property issue, forcing them to move to India from Singapore. And now, she doesn't know anything about her son. She said:

"Now, I do not know what to do. US Embassy and Chennai police are helping me to find the whereabouts of my son. I do not know whether he is being threatened by my husband's PA."

Dhivya further claimed that despite being married to Prasanna for 10 years, she found out about his criminal history in the US after they were forced to relocate to Singapore two years ago.

However, Prasanna Sankar has another story to tell, stating that they are undergoing a divorce battle. He stated that his wife, Dhivya, was having an extramarital affair. According to Prasanna, he refused to pay additional millions, and the settlement was negotiated at Rs. 9 crore. Not only this, Dhivya has full custody rights under a Memorandum of Understanding, and his son was handed over to him voluntarily. However, when he came to India, his wife filed a false kidnapping case against him. He is on a run as Chennai police are behind him.
