Prajakta Cries Sharing Parents Broke Her Piggybank During Financial Crunch, Dad Says 'I Drove Taxi'

Prajakta Koli is one of the famous YouTubers, whose content often makes people go gaga. Apart from being a YouTuber, Prajakta is also a famous social media influencer, an actress, and now, an author as well. Prajakta was last seen in Mismatched 3, following which she launched her book, Too Good To Be True. Well, the actress recently turned emotional recalling a tough time in her family, when there was a financial struggle going on.

Prajakta Koli turns emotional while recalling how her parents had to break her piggybank due to a financial crunch to run their family

Prajakta Koli recently sat for an interview on Yuvaa with her father, wherein she was seen turning emotional while recalling a particular incident from her childhood when she had to act like an adult, although she was only 12. Prajakta said during the time she was 12 years old, when she came back from school, her parents told her that they would have to break her piggybank as they were facing some financial challenges, even to run home.

Prajakta said that back then, she was okay with it, and she has no idea, why it turned her emotional, but she doesn't want to remember it as a sad memory. She further asked her father if it was a tough situation for him as well. Prajakta can be quoted as saying:

"Mumma, papa made me sit with love, I remember the time because I almost felt like I was an adult, the way they spoke to me. They said, 'Aabu, we are struggling a little bit this month. So we'll have to break your piggy bank'. I was like, 'Ok'. They were like, 'It's ok, we will get you a new one'. It's very emotional for me now, but I don't remember the incident as a sad one. I actually remember it as a very regular one. Now that I'm an adult, I'm possibly at that age when you had asked me this. So I want to ask you, 'Was that tough?'"

Going forward in the same interview, Prajakta's father shared that back then he was working with a multi-level marketing company, which was new in India, and he had put in a whole lot of money. He added that the company went bankrupt, and all his savings were gone. Prajakta's father said that he asked for help from their relatives and even drove a taxi, but it even came as a challenge to run the family, and thus, he and his wife had to break Prajakta's piggybank, as it was the last option to them. Prajakta's father shared:

"I went blank...At that time I drove a taxi, nothing was working, I had no money for monthly expenses at home. I tried my level best to get help from relatives and friends but didn't get it. My last option was to break your piggy bank, and that amount helped us with the expenses for that month. I can say with pride that we Prajakta's support the help to manage our family, started from then."

When Prajakta was only six years old, she wanted to be an RJ. Prajakta began her career as an RJ and later moved to YouTube, where she has millions of subscribers now. Prajakta reported earning Rs. 40 lakhs from her YouTube currently, and she has a whole lot of subscribers as well. Reportedly, her net worth is estimated at around Rs. 16 crores. Prajakta was also seen in several movies such as Jugjugg Jeeyo and Neeyat. In her personal life, she is engaged to Vrishank Khanal, who is a lawyer by profession.
