Prajakta Koli's Father Opens Up On His Bond With Her Fiance, Vrishank, 'Dost Banalo Taake Dahej...'

Prajakta Koli is one of India's biggest content creators and an actress with over 5 million followers on YouTube. But her journey to fame wasn't easy. She hails from a humble background and worked hard for years to achieve this feat while family and beau, Vrishank have supported her at every step of this journey. In a new conversation, Prajakta Koli and her father, Manoj, revealed his bond with her fiancé, Vrishank, and how it has developed over the years.

Prajakta Koli and her father, Manoj Koli, recently sat down to have a conversation on Yuvaa's YouTube channel. During their conversation, Manoj spoke about his present bond with her fiancé, Vrishank Khanal. He revealed that they became friends over time, and during the lockdown due to COVID-19, Vrishank taught him how to make wine. Manoj explained that men often become friends over drinks and discussing common things and ideas. 

He added that as time went on, he began to understand Vrishank and realised that Vrishank was a good person, much like a gentleman and knowledgeable about his field of work, i.e. law. Prajakta's father also quipped over their unexpected friendship and said: 

“Toh dost banao, aage chalke damaad banega yeh toh guarantee hai. Pehle dost toh banalo taake dahej mein kuch maang na lein.”

Prajakta Koli revealed it wasn't easy for her father, Manoj, to accept her beau, Vrishank Khanal 

In the same interview, Prajakta Koli revealed that initially, her father was hesitant to accept her beau, Vrishank Khanal. At the same time, he had a 'typical reaction' when he found out they were dating when she was 18. In his defence, her father explained that she was young and excited about her career. Consequently, he thought dating him would come between her bid to achieve her dreams. At the same time, since he had not met Vrishank Khanal, he wasn't on board. However, eventually, they met, and things settled between them. Recalling his first meeting with Vrishank, Manoj mentioned: 

"The first time I met him at our home was during Gauri pooja. He was handsome, had a good personality and was studying law to become a lawyer. I didn't think there was anything to object. However much parents want, if kids are sure (about relationship), then it's very difficult to convince them that don't do it."

Prajakta Koli was 18 when she met Vrishank Khanal, 22 years old. He hails from Nepal, and they met through a common friend. Gradually, the two began talking and fell in love over time. In an interview with Cosmopolitan India, Vrishank recalled that the simplicity and humble nature of Prajakta impressed him. However, her career as a content creator and his work as a lawyer took most of their time in the coming years, posing a challenge to their relationship. However, they communicated and dealt with it. They have been together for more than 12 years now, and he has a good bond with her parents, and they all go on trips as well. The couple announced their engagement in 2023.
