Prabhas' Fee For 'Spirit' Revealed, Breaks All The Records And Becomes India's Highest Paid Actor

Prabhas is one of the most celebrated and respected actors, who has built a huge fanbase across Telugu and Hindi cinema. After his blockbuster performance in the film, Kalki 2989 AD, the Baahubali actor is all set to return in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film, Spirit. A few months ago, multiple reports had suggested that Prabhas might have taken around Rs. 100 crore, however, now his whopping fee for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit has been revealed. A recent report by Money Control revealed that the Saaho actor, Prabhas will be taking a whopping amount of more than Rs. 160 crore. 

Some industry experts believe that the reason behind his huge paycheque is Prabhas’ charm, fanbase and popularity in India. With this paycheque, Prabhas has broken all records and is now the highest-paid actor, not just in Tollywood, but in the whole country. Reportedly, Prabhas also has a huge fan base in the U.S., Europe, Japan, and many other parts of the world.

For the unversed, Spirit is an upcoming pan-India action film, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. Reportedly, the film will star Prabhas and Triptii Dimri in the lead. However, some reports also suggest that the film will cast Vivek Oberoi and Prakash Raj in supporting roles. While not much is available about the film, some reports have mentioned that in Spirit, Prabhas will be seen playing the role of a police officer, who is involved in a violent and emotionally draining mission. If reports are to be believed, Spirit will be made on a huge budget, and Prabhas will allegedly invest 6 months in it.

For those who don't know, in early 2025, Spirit made headlines, when actress, Deepika Padukone announced her exit from the film. Reportedly, she had asked for an increase in fee and demanded only 8-hour working. When the director didn't agree on this, she left the action film. Her exit sparked major debates online. On the internet, multiple users came in support of her and her demands. Recently, Deepika had addressed her 8-hour workshift demand and shared:

"We’ve normalised overworking. We mistake burnout for commitment. Eight hours of work a day is enough for the human body and mind. Only when you’re healthy can you give your best."

Prabhas is one of India’s biggest pan-India superstars, who was born on October 23, 1979, in Chennai. He began his acting career in Telugu cinema and gradually built a pan-India image. Prabhas became a household name with S.S. Rajamouli's films, Baahubali and Baahubali 2. For the unversed, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion is still his highest-grossing film. Later, he appeared in films like Saaho, Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire, Kalki 2898 AD, Adipurush, Radhe Shyam and more. 

With his rising popularity, his paycheque also started increasing. Before the epic, Baahubali, Prabhas was decently paid. However, after the film, his fee increased by a large margin. Even though it is not confirmed by the actor, multiple reports suggested that Rs. 100 crore became common for him.
