Perry Bamonte was born on September 3, 1960, in London. He first joined The Cure as a guitar technician and personal assistant to frontman, Robert Smith. Later, in 1990, he replaced keyboardist Roger O'Donnell and became an official member of the band, a role he held for 15 years. He used to play guitar, keyboard and six-string bass. Moreover, he contributed to the iconic albums including Wish and Bloodflowers. After rejoining the band in 2022, Perry was an integral part of his plan until his demise.
