Payal Rohatgi and Sangram Singh's wedding ceremonies kickstarted with shagun ki mehendi. And pictures from the festivity are now doing rounds on the internet. A few moments back, a paparazzi team shared a few snapshots of the bride getting adorned with henna at her mehendi ceremony. Payal opted for a casual look and donned a pink and orange-coloured bandhni printed kaftan suit, which has a sequinned embroidery at the hemline. She completed her whole getup with a 'no-makeup' makeup look, pink-tinted lips, a bindi, ethnic jhumkas and tied her hair in a bun. Check it out:
In a candid conversation with Bollywoodshaadis.com, Payal had opened up about how she would deck herself up for the big day. She had revealed that she would become a traditional bride and would enjoy every ritual with utmost excitement. In her words:
"I will be a traditional bride. I am going to deck up and going to enjoy all the rituals that are done before the pheras — mehendi, haldi and chooda. As I want to enjoy the process to marry Sangram Singh."

Earlier, in another interview with ETimes, Payal had mentioned that she would be wearing her nani's gold kada (a bracelet that Sikh brides and a few Hindu brides wear) as a blessing. Talking about the same, Payal remembered her nani and had said:
"My Nani, I loved her. She has given me her gold kada which I am going to wear with my wedding jewellery. She was a sardarni. It's a really beautiful kada and the design on it is amazing. I am going to miss her on my big day a lot, as she is not around. So I am going to wear her gold kada in her memory, as a blessing from her."
We can't wait to see pictures of other rituals from Payal and Sangram's wedding ceremonies. What about you?
