Pawan Kalyan's Ex-Wife Renu Desai Responds To Trolls As She Faces Backlash, 'Don't Have A Husband..'

Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan’s ex-wife, Renu Desai, is making headlines after losing her cool at a press meet recently. It so happened that during a press meet to raise awareness about street dogs, Renu was reported to have allegedly shouted at the press. But the actress turned activist issued a clarification and stated that she didn’t shout at the press and was rather responding to a 55-year-old man, who tried to hit her.

Renu Desai says she doesn’t have a husband to protect her

Soon after the press conference, Renu Desai became a target of online trolling. Many social media users started calling out her behaviour and trolled her mercilessly. She took to her IG handle and posted a video of herself sitting on a boat at the Varanasi ghat with the text that can be read as:

“I don't have a father or mother or an elder brother or a husband to protect me. All the hate that you spew on me for no fault of mine I just calmly share with Devi and Mahadev. I know that they hear my pain and see my tears.”

Renu Desai called out the trolls for commenting on her failed marriage with Pawan Kalyan

Soon after the press conference fiasco, Renu Desai, through her IG handle, posted a video in which she addressed the trolls she faced after the conference. She called out the trolls for targeting her marriage and her kids and said:

“I have seen some comments on my way home. How correct is it to comment on my personal life? You’re saying that’s why Pawan Kalyan left me, that I am cranky. Do I get any money while fighting for street dogs? I am not even fighting for them; I am fighting for human life. And you’re making such disgusting comments. You even said I would learn a lesson if my children died from dog bites. Why would you say that? I am a mother who knows the value of life.”

Renu Desai and Pawan Kalyan’s controversial marriage

Pawan Kalyan was already married to Nandini when he met Renu during the shooting of a film. While Pawan and Nandini were facing marital issues, he fell in love with Renu and started living with her. The actor was still married to Nandini when he confirmed living with Renu. Not only this, Renu publicly revealed that she and Pawan Kalyan had a child out of wedlock in 2004 with the birth of their first child, a baby boy named Akira Nandan.

Soon after his divorce from Nandini, Pawan got married to Renu in 2009, and the couple welcomed their second child, Aadya. Soon after Aadya’s birth, Pawan and Renu had irreconcilable differences, and they divorced in 2012.
