'The Vampire Diaries' Fame, Paul Wesley Gets ENGAGED To GF, Natalie, She Drops Adorable Post

Every time we stumble upon Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, Candice King or Kat Graham on social media handles, we cannot help but travel back to 2009, when the American supernatural teen series, The Vampire Diaries, left us breathless. While people have been waiting for season 9 to appear, it has been confirmed that no further seasons of the series will air. The series first aired in 2009 and ended in 2017.

Well, we have grown up seeing TVD, and so has the cast. Having said that, while Ian is married, Nina is engaged, and recently, Paul also stepped up in his personal life. Yes! Our Salvatore-crush just got engaged in real life to the love of his life, Natalie Kuckenburg.

Well, the announcement was not glamorous, or a press release, or a huge party; rather, Paul and his GF, Natalie, chose a low-key engagement. She took to her social media handle and made it official through an adorable post. In the photos, only the couple's hands were visible, and what grabbed the attention was the shiny and huge engagement ring on Natalie's finger, as Paul adorably held her hand. No sooner had she posted the photo, making her engagement official, than the comment section got filled with congratulatory messages. Sharing the photo, Natalie penned a cutesy, short yet loving caption, which could be read as:

"Yes. Always and forever."

Paul Wesley took to his IG handle and posted a selfie from their romantic date night. He was seen looking handsome as ever in a white shirt, while Natalie was flaunting her engagement ring, being decked in an orange-toned off-shouldered dress. Yet, in another glimpse, we could see the beautiful glimpses of their date night, filled with roses, candles and wine. Paul and Natalie often share happy couple goals through their adorable posts, be it on each other's birthdays, Valentine's Day or even through the snaps of their vacation diaries.

Paul was earlier married to Ines de Ramon, and their divorce was finalised in 2024. Paul reportedly started dating Natalie in late 2022, and this was the first time the couple was spotted in Italy during a dinner outing. Eventually, people started noticing that they would drop identical photos of similar places, which raised eyebrows. Later, through low-key social media posts, Paul and Natalie confirmed being in a relationship.

Talking about his bond with Natalie, Paul said that laughter is the glue of their bond. The couple never made it loud or starry about their relationship, but it has always been through soft launches that hit hard eventually. While the exact details about their engagement aren't known yet, if a report by People is to be believed, they are currently travelling in Italy, where the actor might have popped the question to his favourite person.
