Patralekhaa Reacts To Question On 'Plastic Surgery, Botox And Lip Filler': 'Makes You Confident..'

Patralekhaa responded to a fan's question about plastic surgery for the first time on Reddit. However, let us inform you that the actress and her husband, Rajkummar Rao, are often accused of plastic surgery. While, for the longest time, Rajkummar Rao had denied the rumours, he finally admitted to getting chin fillers.

After Rajkummar Rao accepted getting chin fillers, Patralekhaa was questioned about plastic surgery and other beauty treatments. Recently, she hosted an 'Ask Me Anything' session on Reddit, during which one of her fans questioned her thoughts on plastic surgery, lip fillers, and Botox. Patralekhaa gave a cool reply, stating that it is fine if it makes a person confident. She wrote, "Do what makes you feel confident... No judgements!!"

When Rajkummar Rao admitted to using chin fillers

Earlier, in a recent interaction with Bollywood Hungama, Rajkummar cleared the air about his plastic surgery and claimed that people have been editing his pictures in a wrong. In his words:

“I have not done any plastic surgery guys. It is just a bad photo. That is just a touch-up photo. I wish I had such clean and flawless skin because it looks like that. I was not wearing any makeup. But I must say it looks weird even for me. It was just a bad moment caught on camera. I have not done any plastic surgery.”

Furthermore, Rajkummar Rao admitted that he had once opted for chin fillers because he wanted to appear more confident. It was his dermatologist who suggested he opt for it, and he felt confident after the fillers. He said:

"Having said that, about eight years ago, I did some filler work on my chin because I wanted to look confident. My dermatologist suggested it and I did. Do I feel confident after that? Yes. Have I done better films after that. It has changed the perception."

In the concluding note, Rajkummar Rao opened up about his perceptions of actors altering their facial features through various treatments. He added that since acting is a visual medium, it is quite alright for people to opt for such treatments since it boosts their confidence. Moreover, he claimed that plastic surgery is an expensive and time-consuming procedure in his regard. 

Patralekhaa and Rajkummar Rao's first meeting 

Patralekha found Rajkummar Rao creepy in their first meeting. The actress remembered watching his first film, Love Sex Aur Dhoka, after which she received a call from one of her friends, who was studying at FTII. The actress said:

“I had just seen LSD. His first film. About three days later, one of my school friends called me, she said, ‘Could you do this video for me, it’s a music video, and I am calling this other actor called Rajkummar. He was just in LSD.’ I said, ‘Ruksana, no, I am not coming because I think he is very creepy and I was scared.’ She was like, ‘Nothing will happen, we will send you a car, and why don’t you get your sister along with you?’ I was like, ‘Okay, let’s see.' ”
