The sudden death of actress and dancer Shefali Jariwala on June 27, 2025, left fans and the entertainment world in shock. Also known as the original 'Kaanta Laga girl', Shefali was just 42 when she passed away. Several media reports claimed she died due to a cardiac arrest at her Mumbai residence. But nothing was confirmed, and since then, many questions and speculations about her final moments have been raised in the media. Now, nearly three months later, her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, has finally opened up and revealed in detail what exactly happened on the night she died.

Parag Tyagi recalls the final moments of Shefali Jariwala 

In an emotional video shared on his YouTube channel in her name, Parag Tyagi recalled the night when Shefali died. He fought back tears and revealed that he sensed something wrong was going to happen that day. In the evening, he went to take their pets for a walk when he suddenly received a call from home that she was unwell and unable to breathe. He quickly rushed back home. Recalling how her body suddenly gave up, he said:

"Breathing ek ya do bar aayi, lekin body puri chhod chuki thi, main uth nahi pa raha tha. CPR mouth-to-mouth deke thodi si breathing lagi, awaz bhi aayi, but phir unhone kaha cornea move nahi kar raha hai."

After she was taken to the hospital, the doctors declared her dead upon arrival at the hospital. Parag described that night as the most painful one of his life. He said everything slipped away so quickly that he couldn't process what was happening. His words left fans emotional and gave a glimpse into the grief he has been carrying for months. In his words:

"We never know what will happen and when. In life, we plan so much, what to earn, what to achieve, but in the end, it slipped away from my hands," he shared. His words left fans emotional, offering a rare and raw glimpse into the grief he has been carrying."

Did Shefali Jariwala's anti-ageing medicines claim her life?

In the same conversation, Parag Tyagi addressed the widespread speculation about Shefali's lifestyle. Parag strongly denied speculation that she was taking anti-ageing medication that might have led to her death. The actor clarified that Shefali only took multivitamins through monthly IV drips as she often forgot daily supplements. At the same time, he mentioned that Shefali was disciplined about her health, but still enjoyed her favorite foods like ice cream and Chinese meals by balancing them with workouts. Sharing the facts behind the rumours, he stated:

"What anti-aging are people talking about? Shefali didn't want to take multivitamins every day, so she took them once a month: Vitamin C, collagen, and glutathione. These are antioxidants, not anti-ageing drugs."
