Pankaj Tripathi is back with Criminal Justice- A Family Matter: Review of the trailer that showcases high-stakes legal battles

The trailer was dropped on May 14, 2025, and was well received by the audience, who remained excited about Pankaj's comeback as 'Madhav Mishra'. So, without further ado, let's have a look at what season 4 will offer. Season 4 of Pankaj Tripathi's Criminal Justice- A Family Matter features a stellar cast, including Zeeshan Ayyub, Surveen Chawla, Asha Negi, Khushboo Atre, Barkha Singh, Aatm Prakash Mishra, Mita Vashisht, and Shweta Basu Prasad.

There's not a single doubt about the performances of the actors assigned to the series, and the 2-minute trailer is a glimpse of the same. The plot revolves around a murder mystery. Zeeshan Ayyub played the role of 'Dr. Raj Nagpal', who was accused of murdering his girlfriend. 'Dr. Raj Nagpal' was seen denying the murder charges against him and stating he tried to save her.

His wife, 'Anju' played by Surveen Chawla, hires 'Madhav Mishra' to defend her husband, but ends up being the co-accused in this case, which makes it complex for the lawyer to solve it. On the other hand, Shweta Basu Prasad plays the lawyer on the deceased's side and promises the criminal will be punished. A high-stakes legal battle and layers of mystery, along with a threefold truth, are the main factors that hold the plot strong. Well, one is assured that Pankaj Tripathi's character is going to solve a challenging case that doesn't have only two sides but one more. The trailer was dropped on the social media handles, with a caption, which can be read as:

"Iss baar sach ke do nahi, teen pehlu hain. Mishra Ji ke career ke sabse pecheede case ke liye thoda intezaar aur!"

The audience is already loving the 2-minute glimpse of Criminal Justice- A Family Matter

As soon as the trailer was dropped, the audience's excitement remained heightened. The one common reaction the trailer got was that people wished to dive deep into the series, and it already hooked the audience with its plot, as it seems. Reacting to the trailer, one user wrote, "Can't wait!" Another user commented, "Madhav Mishra is back!" A third user penned, "Mishra ji is back."
